"Alright, since we're ready, let's depart!" Lin Feng commanded directly, as lingering on Earth was meaningless.
Du Jialun had no objections. He transformed into his Autobot form, still the same black SUV.
The young girl tossed her suitcase into Du Jialun's trunk and eagerly hopped into the passenger seat.
"Then we're off!" Lin Feng, seeing everything was prepared, opened the car door and slid into the driver's seat, waving goodbye to the Guardian.
The Guardian waved and nodded, "Wishing you a smooth journey!"
"Du Jialun, don't forget what I told you!"
Du Jialun grunted back, "Got it!"
He felt an inexplicable weight of responsibility, tasked with bringing Optimus Prime back.
After bidding farewell, Du Jialun slowly drove the two of them out of the base.
Martina, sitting in the passenger seat, felt her heart pounding like a drum, her face a picture of sheer excitement.
She conscientiously fastened her seatbelt. "How do we travel into space? Do we take a spaceship from somewhere?"
This was her first time traveling so far from home, and to space at that. How could she not be excited?
Spaceship?
Lin Feng smiled without answering. "Hold on tight!"
Did he need a spaceship to go to space? Who was he looking down on?
His bio-field expanded, enveloping the entire vehicle.
Du Jialun's wheels, while still in motion, gradually lifted off the ground, as if an invisible, transparent road had appeared in the air, stretching to the heavens.
Under Lin Feng's influence, the entire vehicle tilted upwards and shot straight into the clouds!
The acceleration increased with every passing moment, and Martina's face turned a flushed red with excitement.
"Thrilling!"
This experience, defying all common sense, only fueled Martina's excitement further.
Girls her age loved nothing more than breaking free from constraints.
They enjoyed doing things they weren't supposed to.
Before they reached adulthood, their parents were strict. This often led to a compensatory indulgence once they were free from control.
'I'm an adult now, I can do whatever I want!'
Lin Feng paid no mind to Martina. Space travel was commonplace for him.
The vehicle continued to accelerate, quickly reaching escape velocity to leave Earth.
Moments later, with Earth a receding, colossal orb behind them, Du Jialun plunged headfirst into the vast expanse of deep space!
Having left Earth, Lin Feng unleashed his full power, enveloping Du Jialun and accelerating faster and faster, reaching and exceeding the speed of light at an incredible pace.
The two of them and the vehicle sped directly towards Cybertron.
However, Cybertron was approximately 4 light-years away from Earth.
It orbited the star Alpha Centauri and was a massive metallic planet, akin to Saturn.
Even with Lin Feng traveling at superluminal speeds, the journey would take several days, perhaps even over ten days.
To increase their speed, Lin Feng utilized the power of the Infinity Stones for amplification, initiating minor spatial jumps along the straight path while still traveling faster than light.
According to their plan, they should reach Cybertron in a few hours.
But even a few hours of travel could be rather monotonous.
After all, the scenery in space was mostly the same: a vast blackness punctuated by the twinkling of stars.
"Du Jialun, do you have any music?" Lin Feng asked, formally starting their journey. He reclined his seat further, resting his feet on the steering wheel.
He didn't need the steering wheel to control their direction.
Du Jialun remained silent but immediately played some soothing music.
Martina wasn't idle either. She pulled out her smartphone, which she hadn't used much lately, and began filming the scenery outside the car window.
In the endless darkness, stars twinkled.
This feeling of being immersed in the vastness of the universe was incomparable to watching sci-fi movies on Earth.
The sheer breadth of the universe was undoubtedly awe-inspiring, making creatures like humans feel their own insignificance from the depths of their hearts.
During the journey, Martina also took a selfie with Lin Feng.
Lin Feng didn't object.
He wasn't a superstar, at least not in this universe. A photo was a photo; he had no idol baggage.
But the scenery in space, after a while, became rather repetitive.
It was merely planets of various glowing colors.
If they traveled far enough, they could see galaxies, but they stretched on endlessly.
To be honest, sometimes the Milky Way viewed through equipment on Earth was more spectacular.
As expected, after two hours, Martina began to get bored.
She nudged Lin Feng, who was pretending to be asleep with his eyes closed.
"Hey, tell me."
"Why did Optimus Prime ask you to take me to Cybertron?"
Lin Feng opened his eyes and glanced at the curious girl. "I'm curious too."
"Perhaps you're Optimus Prime's love child..."
"Uh..."
Martina choked, a dark line forming on her forehead.
What a thunderous response! Was he serious?
"I'm human!"
A love child? Where would a silicon-based life form produce a carbon-based life form?
Lin Feng shrugged, spreading his hands. "Then I don't know..."
With that, he closed his eyes and continued his pretense of sleep.
A straightforward man chose to end the conversation abruptly.
He couldn't give Martina an opening, or he'd have to chat with her for the next three to four hours!
"Du Jialun, you tell me!"
Lin Feng's response was too perfunctory. Martina patted the car seat beneath her.
"I can't fathom the leader's thoughts."
"He must have his reasons for doing this!" Du Jialun replied perfunctorily as well.
He wasn't good at dealing with human females. He'd be fine with another female Autobot.
Lin Feng, who was feigning sleep, couldn't help but smirk. Well, he was a straight shooter too.
The Autobot was employing his conversational filler skills again!
Martina felt a jab again and frowned in frustration.
"Don't you guys find this boring!"
The space was dull and silent. Oh, apart from Du Jialun's soothing music, which made one feel sleepy.
...
A silence followed. No one responded to her.
"Lin Feng!"
Martina, annoyed, poked Lin Feng again.
Lin Feng played dead, even emitting a light snore.
'I'm asleep!'
...
Martina, with a crestfallen face, could only turn her gaze back to the similar scenery outside the window.
'Don't be angry, I'm not angry. Such 'beautiful' scenery, I won't be angry!'
However, amidst this monotonous scenery and soothing music, the environment became exceptionally conducive to sleep.
Several hours later, Martina was drowsy, her head bobbing.
Just as she was about to fall asleep, Lin Feng suddenly opened his eyes, and Du Jialun's speed abruptly decreased, exiting superluminal travel.
"We're here!" Lin Feng announced.
"Mm, mm?"
Hearing the sound, Martina raised her head, looking slightly dazed.
"Here? Where are we?"
"Cybertron, of course. Are you groggy from sleep?"
Lin Feng pointed ahead with amusement.
Martina's senses gradually returned. She instinctively looked forward.
Through the windshield, a breathtaking sight greeted Martina's eyes.
It was a colossal metallic planet, standing in the endless darkness!
The entire surface of the planet was covered in metal.
Intricate pipelines crisscrossed everywhere, along with metallic contraptions whose names she couldn't recall.
Blocky metallic structures divided the planet into several regions.
The entire planet was composed of cold-toned steel, exuding an aura of advanced technology and immense solidity.
