After bidding farewell to Thor, Lin Feng returned to Blue Star.
Honestly, he was quite looking forward to the weapons the Dwarf King had forged for him.
Although these two guns wouldn't significantly boost Lin Feng's attack power, they would be incredibly useful for sneak attacks.
Lin Feng had already devised 108 ways to utilize firearms.
The next time he encountered an Exile, he could use the Time Stone to fire a shot, freeze the entire person, and then toss them into the sun for a hot bath.
To destroy a planet, he could simply fire a shot with the Power Stone, which would be much more convenient than him going up himself to throw a punch or use his heat vision.
Most importantly, it would look cooler than fighting with his fists!
And to be honest, the Silver Superman's abilities didn't feel as convenient as he had imagined.
It wasn't that Silver Superman wasn't powerful, but rather that Lin Feng had only figured out one way to use telekinesis.
He had tried to shrink himself down to the size of an ant but had never succeeded.
He wasn't sure if it was because his abilities still needed time to develop or if it was simply the inherent nature of the Silver Superman's physique.
The abilities seemed to manifest out of nowhere, without any discernible pattern.
Lost in thought, Lin Feng stepped out of the portal, finding himself at his own villa.
"What is it?!"
As soon as he emerged from the portal, a massive dark shadow lunged at him.
Instinctively, Lin Feng swatted it away.
The sensation was like hitting a giant meat mountain.
"Ouch!!!"
*Bang!*
The dark shadow was sent flying a long distance by Lin Feng's palm, crashing onto the lawn.
The colossal creature let out a pained howl.
Lin Feng looked over in confusion and was astonished.
What a huge... dog?!
A very, very large, brownish-red dog!
How could a dog be this big? It was larger than Lin Feng's Lamborghini and didn't resemble any breed from Blue Star.
No wonder it felt like hitting a meat mountain!
At this moment, the giant dog was rolling on the ground in pain. Lin Feng's slap, though unintentional, was something a mere dog couldn't withstand!
The dog writhed and whimpered incessantly in agony.
The large dog's cries attracted attention from inside the villa.
The villa door was quickly opened, and two women and a young girl rushed out.
It was Susan, Wanda, and a teenage girl in a goose-yellow dress whom Lin Feng didn't recognize.
"Tetanus!"
"Lin!"
The young girl saw the dog that was writhing and yelping in pain and rushed towards it, her heart filled with concern. She gently stroked the dog's head with her small hand.
Susan, however, spotted Lin Feng and leaped into his arms.
"Whoa! My darling!"
"Did you miss me!"
Lin Feng embraced Susan with a smile, stroking her head.
Susan looked up, her eyes full of joy.
She batted away Lin Feng's playful hand and said, "Of course, I missed you!"
"Why were you gone for so long! You said two months, but it's been half a year!"
"Heh, there was a little accident," Lin Feng chuckled, scratching his head. He then gestured to the dog and the girl and asked Susan, "We'll talk about my matters later, but first, what's going on here?"
Susan followed his gaze and only then noticed the dog lying on the ground. The moment she stepped out of the villa, she had seen Lin Feng, causing her to instantly forget the dog's cries.
Her small mouth gaped in surprise.
"Lin, you hit Tetanus?!"
Lin Feng looked at her, bewildered. "You know this thing?"
"I didn't mean to. As soon as I came out of the portal, a dark shadow lunged at me. I instinctively slapped it..."
Lin Feng looked innocent as he explained.
But this confirmed that Lin Feng had indeed hit the dog!
The teenage girl stood up and pointed at Lin Feng with indignant anger.
"Bad man!"
The dog, called Tetanus, also shakily stood up, whimpering continuously and looking at Lin Feng with eyes full of resentment.
*Yue!*
It opened its mouth and spat something out. Large, white, and sharp...
"Ah!"
The girl anxiously knelt to pick up what the dog had spat out.
A large dog tooth!
"Tetanus! You lost a tooth!"
The girl was on the verge of tears.
Clearly, Lin Feng had knocked it out...
Susan glared at Lin Feng reproachfully.
The situation became a bit awkward.
Lin Feng still looked innocent.
Damn it, he couldn't really be blamed!
A dark shadow lunges at you the moment you emerge from a portal, and your instinctive reaction is to slap it! Anyone would react the same way...
Alright, Susan sighed. She knew Lin Feng couldn't have done it intentionally and went to comfort the girl.
The taller Wanda greeted Lin Feng somewhat reservedly. Where the 'taller' part came in, Lin Feng couldn't say.
They hadn't fully gotten acquainted before Lin Feng left, and he'd been gone for half a year, so Wanda's reserve was understandable.
After a period of commotion, the group, including the dog, finally sat down inside the villa.
The thoughtful Wanda, acting as a maid, had already gone to prepare drinks for them.
The young girl sat on the sofa, repeatedly bowing and apologizing to Lin Feng. Beside her, the enormous dog squatted, still whimpering.
After some explanation, the girl understood that it was her dog's fault and felt embarrassed about calling Lin Feng a bad person.
"My name is Crystal! And its name is Tetanus!" the girl introduced herself and the big dog somewhat shyly.
Having misunderstood Lin Feng earlier, she was now feeling awkward.
She blamed Tetanus for lunging at someone for no reason.
Thinking this, Crystal reached out and patted the dog's head in embarrassment and annoyance, not too hard.
The dog whimpered again. The stranger suddenly appeared from the portal; the dog probably thought he was a bad guy!
The dog felt wronged, but it couldn't say anything.
It was a world where only the dog got hurt!
Lin Feng was somewhat surprised by Crystal's sensible demeanor.
He had expected a combination of a willful girl and a troublesome dog, but she was surprisingly understanding!
"It's alright, it's alright! Since the misunderstanding has been cleared up, it's fine now!" Susan interjected to ease the tension.
"Crystal is my father's niece, my cousin!" Susan introduced with a smile to Lin Feng.
"Crystal often comes to visit me! But her studies have been demanding for the past two years. She finally got a break today and came to see me!"
Lin Feng nodded slightly, but his attention was focused on the large dog. He seemed deep in thought, staring at it with a contemplative expression.
Seeing Lin Feng constantly staring at the big dog, Susan patted him and explained, "Crystal told me that Tetanus seemed to have eaten something bad when it was young! After falling ill, it just kept growing bigger!"
"Don't worry! Even though it's big, it's very friendly!"
Lin Feng shifted his gaze from the dog's aggrieved face and looked at Susan with a hesitant expression, about to say something but stopping himself.
Who told you such ridiculous nonsense...
No matter how much a dog ate, it wouldn't grow larger than a car!!
Lin Feng let out a helpless chuckle.
Well, actually, when he heard the names Crystal and Tetanus, he had already suspected something.
Combined with the ridiculously large, silly dog, Lin Feng snorted.
This was the Inhumans, wasn't it? Those guys living on the far side of the moon!
Wait a minute!
Lin Feng's smile suddenly froze.
What did Susan just say? Crystal was her cousin?
