Chapter 700: Chapter 700: Peach Blossom Tribulation... Peach Blossom Calamity... (2)

Quinn Thorne was getting roughed up.

"Spit it out!"

Quinn, startled, quickly said, "Master Clarion has made his point quite clear. Elias, Raina, look, this peach blossom has nine flowers, indicating that your pond can only accommodate nine fish, Raina. But in reality, your pond is already way beyond capacity. Emperor Hades is Layla, Elias is Lauren, and that kid from The Willows Family is another sibling..."

Raina North couldn’t hold back and interrupted, "What sibling? White is just a child. To me, he’s the same as those little brats. Would I really stoop to harming my own kid?"

Quinn couldn’t help but murmur, "Theoretically speaking, but raising them up can be quite tempting."

Raina shot a cold glare at him.

Quinn straightened up immediately, "Okay, let’s pretend this sibling business doesn’t exist, but the count has reached eleven. Raina, think carefully, hasn’t it been since Emperor Hades came along as Layla that things started going wrong for you, not as smoothly as before? So, Raina, this peach blossom refers to the Peach Blossom Tribulation."

"Stop talking nonsense, Peach Blossom Tribulation! Why not call it Peach Blossom Curse instead?"

Quinn clapped his hands, praising, "Raina, you’re insightful. If you think about it, it really is a Peach Blossom Curse, much more ferocious than a Peach Blossom Tribulation by hundreds or thousands of times."

Raina glared at Quinn, signaling him to shut up quickly.

But on second thought, it seems, appears, feels like it might really be true.

Wait, that’s not right. Corvus Hades didn’t approach her on purpose; he came to her, and she never truly dated Corvus.

That doesn’t count... right...

Even as Raina tried to find reasons and excuses, she inexplicably felt that Quinn made a good point.

The end of her undefeated streak indeed came with Corvus Hades, and it was because of him she finally resolved to leave The Umbral Zone.

Years later, Jonah Rivers pulled her back, and Corvus came again.

One Corvus was enough of a headache, and now there’s Elias too, who’s the Lord of the Dark Tower.

Two powerful figures facing off, it sure feels like The Cauldron, doesn’t it?

Elias Hawthorne furrowed his brows with an equally unhappy expression, clearly feeling Quinn had made a valid point.

Raina ruffled her hair, saying with bitter resentment, "Oh, if I had known it’d come to this, I wouldn’t have been so reckless back then."

Quinn, unabashedly, said, "Everyone says that, but it doesn’t really help."

Raina squinted at Quinn, "Are you taking pleasure in my misfortune?"

Elias’ gaze swept over coldly.

Quinn shivered involuntarily and quickly said, "Though regret is useless, there’s still a remedy, I promise it’s effective, whether a Peach Blossom Tribulation or a Peach Blossom Curse, it won’t be a problem."

Raina instinctively asked, "What’s the method?"

"The method is simple, just tell Corvus you are already married, and to my brother no less. I don’t believe Corvus would steal someone’s wife."

Raina coldly retorted, "Who gave you that idea?"

"Oh wow, even a married woman is fair game for Corvus. Well, a married woman has her charms; maybe that’s exactly what Corvus wants." With those words, Quinn immediately felt death’s gaze upon him and shuddered as he quickly added, "I have another idea! You should go back and have a child! I refuse to believe Corvus would be twisted enough to target a pregnant woman! Unless he plans to help Elias raise a child! So, Raina, Elias, to resolve this Peach Blossom Curse, hurry up and have your fourth child."
