Chapter 369: Chapter 369: Two More Little Bastards (Part 1)

Vincent Hawthorne remained silent, his expression growing even more unpleasant.

Lawyer Reed couldn’t help but look at Susan Kensington.

Susan Kensington sighed, saying helplessly, "Vincent is worried about Elias, fearing that Elias has left a backup plan to protect Raina North. With Elias’s capabilities, if he insists on protecting Raina, she can easily walk away from all this unscathed. After all, Raina didn’t personally poison anyone."

Lawyer Reed furrowed his brow, "Wasn’t it said before that Raina mistreated the young master to the point where his life was uncertain, and she even had the audacity to use President Hawthorne as a live test subject? Such crimes are unforgivable, how could anyone still protect her?"

Vincent Hawthorne’s face was grim, his eyes burning with fury.

Susan Kensington could only say, "It’s just that heroes can’t resist a beauty’s allure."

Lawyer Reed thought for a moment and said, "Even so, there’s no need for worry. Raina North’s crimes are clear. If President Hawthorne wanted to protect her, the best solution would have been to settle privately before the issue escalated, resolving it out of court, to preserve Raina’s reputation to the greatest extent.

However, President Hawthorne didn’t do this. Now, the best opportunity for reconciliation has already passed. I can responsibly say, not to mention any backup plans President Hawthorne might have left to protect Raina. Even if President Hawthorne personally intervenes, it’s impossible to leave Raina unscathed.

Because, his protection will only lead everyone to believe Raina is incredibly guilty, and it might even affect his own reputation and prestige. A wise person like President Hawthorne won’t choose such a foolish method."

Susan Kensington hurriedly said, "Vincent, did you hear that? Elias wouldn’t do such a thing."

Vincent Hawthorne snorted coldly, "At least he has some sense."

However, his expression did not relax.

Susan Kensington, understanding Vincent Hawthorne’s concerns, continued proactively, "And Elias and Baby, we haven’t seen them for a long time, and we are really worried about their safety. Is there any way to get Raina to hand them over?"

Lawyer Reed thought for a moment and said, "If President Hawthorne left with Raina voluntarily, unless Raina is willing to reveal their whereabouts, our best option is to investigate privately."

Susan Kensington sighed, "We’ve investigated, but found nothing. As parents, we’re really worried sick."

Lawyer Reed suggested, "It’d be best to communicate with Raina properly."

Susan Kensington was about to speak when Vincent Hawthorne suddenly said, "Communicate? Is Raina even worthy of communicating with me? Lawyer Reed, when we’re in court later, I hope you’ll help me sue Raina."

Lawyer Reed asked, "Mr. Hawthorne, what do you wish to sue Raina for?"

Vincent Hawthorne sneered and said one sentence.

...

The courtroom was full.

They gathered together discussing Raina North’s matter.

Claire North and Brenda Adler sat in the front row, listening to the disparaging remarks about Raina North, feeling delighted inside.

Today was the day, Raina would be disgraced, never to appear in front of her to disgust her again. That was truly wonderful!

Just then, Aaron Warren sneered beside her, "Raina is something else, so many people wishing for her death!"

Claire North turned her head to look, seeing Aaron Warren’s look full of resentment, thinking about The Warren Family’s recent turmoil, feeling disdain internally, but outwardly she showed genuine concern, "Chief Warren, don’t worry, Raina won’t gain any advantage this time."

"Not gaining an advantage, what’s the use of that? A wretch like her deserves to rot in prison, sliced into pieces!" Aaron Warren’s face twisted with hatred.
