Chapter 385: Raina North Is Void (Part 1)

Chapter 385: Chapter 385: Raina North Is Void (Part 1)

Undoubtedly, Aaron Warren put in a lot of effort to destroy Raina North, organizing everything incredibly clearly.

The judge carefully reviewed the documents, then turned to Raina North: "Miss North, do you have anything to defend yourself with?"

"Raina North?" Faye Shelby immediately exclaimed, "The thief came? Let me have a good look at who dares to lay hands on something from Ghost Doctor’s Vale!"

Aaron Warren immediately spoke, "Miss Faye, Raina North is here, sitting in the defendant’s seat."

Faye Shelby looked in the direction Aaron pointed to and said, ’surprised’: "Master, you are here too, it seems this matter has really escalated."

"..."

With Faye Shelby’s words, the entire courtroom fell into silence.

Everyone exchanged glances, seeing shock in each other’s eyes.

Master...

Faye Shelby just called ’Master’.

And her master is Void!

That means Master Void is here!!!!!!

Realizing they were about to witness the mysterious Master Void, everyone was too excited to sit still.

They rushed to look around, trying to find out what this Void looked like?

Yet, no matter how they looked, they couldn’t find anyone.

There hadn’t been any new people entering the courtroom.

Aaron Warren’s heart skipped a beat; he was sitting right next to Faye Shelby, and he saw clearly that Faye was looking at the defendant’s seat when she called out ’Master’.

On the defendant’s seat, besides Raina North, there was only that woman with the last name Lin.

If he remembered correctly, that woman surnamed Lin was quite close to Raina North.

If that’s the case, things could be troublesome.

Aaron Warren wasn’t the only one to notice this.

Someone asked in disbelief, "Is that woman named Anya Forrest the Void?"

"She must be, there are only two of them in the defendant’s seat. It surely can’t be Raina North. If it were Raina North, how could she take a minor role as a pharmacist at The Veridian Institute of Medicine?"

We must know, Void is the National Master of the new generation, someone whose medical expertise surpasses even Master Foster’s. How could such a person possibly work as a little pharmacist at The Veridian Institute of Medicine?

"So, this Raina North is really lucky to have a friend like Void. No wonder she’s had smooth sailing upon her return. No wonder President Hawthorne was willing to marry Raina North; it turns out it was to forge ties with Ghost Doctor’s Vale."

"There’s no way around it, no matter how high or powerful a person’s status is, they’re still afraid of death."

"Trying to convict Raina North of theft to put her away is impossible now."

"Convict her? Maybe Void voluntarily gave the prescription to Raina North. Don’t forget, it has been proven that the death of those five people has nothing to do with the medicine. In other words, the new drug can truly combat cancer, which is truly an excellent thing for the nation. We should be pleased about it."

"No, no. If that Miss Forrest is the Void, then why didn’t she bring it out herself? With her reputation, releasing an anti-cancer drug formula wouldn’t cause so many problems, unless..."

"Unless what?"

"Unless the thief everyone speaks of is the real Void..."

With these words, another wave of dead silence hit. Their first instinct was to deny it, they couldn’t believe it, yet a part of them felt that perhaps this was the truth all along.

If this were true, then...

Someone meekly spoke, "I feel my face hurt, like it’s been slapped swollen."

"I feel it too."

"Me too..."

Boom—

A loud noise, as if something was exploding in their minds.

Aaron Warren looked directly at Faye Shelby, his face pale, lips trembling: "Miss Faye, this joke isn’t funny at all, how... how could she be your Master?"
