"My fellow Daoist friends, since we have met here, and our encounter is fated, why not engage in a discussion of the Dao right here?"
Xu Fang proposed. Both Fu Xi and Nu Wa were at the Great Luo Golden Immortal realm, had cultivated for many years, and were well-traveled figures in the Great Desolation.
Having lost two treasures for nothing in this encounter, Xu Fang naturally sought to compensate himself. He had only recently transformed into human form and was traveling the Great Desolation, still lacking profound understanding in matters of cultivation. A discussion of the Dao with them would benefit him as much as obtaining two treasures.
