Chapter 849: Breakfast After Anime Debut

The morning of April 2nd dawned over Elffire City, capital of Bluecorn State. The sky was a pale, clear blue, typical of a spring morning. The sun, rising in the east, cast long shadows from the numerous high-rise buildings that dominated the cityscape. Millions of inhabitants began their day. At 6:00 AM, traffic began to increase on the city’s major arteries. Buses, filled to capacity, lumbered along designated routes. Private vehicles, a mix of sedans and smaller commuter cars, flowed steadily, though congestion was already building around the city’s financial district. Pedestrians, dressed in a variety of clothing reflecting the cooler morning temperatures, walked purposefully to their destinations, many heads bowed to their phones. Construction crews, already on site, prepared for the day’s work; the rhythmic clang of metal on metal echoing through the pre-dawn quiet. Within the high-rises, lights flickered on in countless office spaces. The hum of computers and the clatter of keyboards filled the air as employees began their workday. Coffee machines sputtered, dispensing caffeine to fuel the coming hours. In residential areas, alarm clocks rang, signaling the start of another day for families. Children were roused from their sleep, reluctantly preparing for school. Parents hurried through morning routines, a common scene replicated in thousands of apartments and houses. At a local bakery, the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air as bakers worked diligently, preparing pastries and loaves for the day’s customers. The rhythmic thud of dough being kneaded punctuated the quiet efficiency of their actions. Newspapers arrived at distribution centers; delivery trucks were already being loaded for their daily routes. The city’s infrastructure worked in tandem, a complex machine performing its morning functions. By 7:00 AM, the city was fully awake. The morning rush was at its peak. The sounds of the city – the rumble of traffic, the shouts of street vendors, the distant sirens – all blended into a familiar urban symphony, and the day had begun in Elffire City, a city functioning according to a predictable rhythm of routine and expectation.

And among these people were our protagonists.

Just like their group did every day, that morning the group gathered at Theo’s house early in the morning to train their bodies.

After months of training, the girls were visibly stronger mentally, and their bodies were starting to show definition. Well, at least that was the case for the rookies like Sayuri, Sam, June, and Gwen. Ayia and Shizuka were martial masters themselves, so their bodies were already extremely fit.

Theo and Ayia cooked breakfast for everyone, just like they did every day after the workout.

And without doubt, the theme of the breakfast was Theo’s Studio’s anime debut yesterday. Most of them were present yesterday at the screening, and the ones who weren’t had a good reason. Theo’s restaurant opened normally yesterday, so Shizuka took the post as head chef.

The group sat around the table, a mix of excitement and satisfaction evident on their faces. The previous day’s events had been an exciting event for them all. Sakura Abode Country had a strong anime culture, so every person dreamed as a child about working with anime. Just like a kid would dream about Disney on Earth.

Theo’s anime debut was a success, and the dining table had buzzed with energy and celebration. Now, they relished in the afterglow, enjoying the simple pleasure of a shared meal.

As they ate, they discussed the screening, their voices animated as they relived the excitement. The clueless ones, Sayuri, Sam, June, and Gwen, listened intently to Theo and Aurora’s insights, eager to learn from their more experienced companions. After all, the two of them participated in the production, and they were eager to know what goes on in an anime production.

As they feasted on the spread prepared by Theo and Ayia, the group’s conversation turned to the previous day’s anime screening. Ayia, Shizuka, Sayuri, Sam, June, and Gwen hung on every word as Theo shared fascinating insights into the anime production process. "You have no idea how much work goes into creating those fight scenes," Theo explained, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "For each punch or kick, the animators have to consider the character’s movement, the angle of the camera, and the timing. It’s like choreographing a dance, but with drawings!"

The girls nodded, engrossed in Theo’s description. "And that’s not even mentioning the voice acting," he continued. "We had to find just the right actors to bring the characters to life. Some of them had to scream at the top of their lungs for hours, really committing to the performance. It was exhausting work, but so worth it when you see the final product." He smiled, a mix of pride and relief washing over him. Aurora chimed in, adding her own perspective on the production. "The attention to detail was remarkable," she said. "I remember one scene where we were recording a scene where a character was running through a crowded market. Each vendor had their own unique goods, and the animators took the time to draw every little detail. It was amazing to see the voice actors and sound engineers bring life to the animation, It’s that level of dedication that makes the final product so immersive."

The girls listened, wide-eyed, absorbing every word. Sayuri, her curiosity piqued, asked, "So, Theo, what was the most challenging part of the whole process for you?" Theo pondered for a moment, taking a sip of his coffee. "Hmm, that’s a tough one. I’d have to say it was the post-production phase. There’s so much that goes into polishing an anime after the initial animation is done. We had to fine-tune the sound, edit the footage, and add all the special effects. It’s a lot of late nights and caffeine, but it’s also where the magic really happens."

The breakfast, a spread of delicious dishes prepared with care by Theo and Ayia, fueled not just their bodies but also their camaraderie and spirit.

The morning’s training had been rigorous, but the sense of accomplishment that followed permeated the atmosphere. They felt stronger, both individually and as a collective. Their dedication was paying off, and the progress was evident. As they indulged in the hearty meal, they knew that their hard work extended beyond physical strength. It was a testament to their commitment to their shared passion and to each other. In that moment, they were a family, bound by a common purpose and the unique dynamics of their group.

After a lovely breakfast, Theo bade farewell to Aurora, who was going to school, and Ayia and the others.

"Have a good day at school!"

"Bye, babe! See you tonight at the restaurant."

"Bye, girls!"

After making sure everyone safely left, Theo left the manor as well. He was on the way to his next project.

Theo would start the production of his game!
