Chapter 845: SAO Debut Night

Chapter 845: SAO Debut Night

Thursday Night. April 1st.

This could be another normal night in the Sakura Abode Country, but for some people, this night would define whether months of hard work would pay off.

That was because the Sword Art Online Anime that Theo’s Tokyo Studios produced would finally debut after months of hard work.

As a rookie studio that had just produced its debut anime, Tokyo Studios was unknown to the majority of the public. Even the ones who knew about it were the ones who got to know from the various ad campaigns that the Tokyo Studios did to promote their anime. And the second type of people who knew were, of course, the light novel fans who had read the Sword Art Online Light Novel that Theo’s publishing company published. The anticipation was palpable as the clock struck ten in the evening. In a small theater in the heart of Sakura Abode Country, Elffire City, a dedicated group of people gathered for the highly anticipated debut of Sword Art Online, well, at least it was for then, as they were the ones who produced this anime. Theo decided to gather the whole studio to watch the anime debut together. That’s how hundreds of animators gathered together in a theater on a Thursday night in the center of Elffire City. Months of dedication and effort had led to this moment, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and nervous energy. Among the audience were the passionate staff of Tokyo Studios, including its founder, Theo, who had poured their hearts and souls into bringing this anime to life. They knew the challenges of entering the competitive world of anime production, especially as a rookie studio, but their determination burned brightly.

Theo had his sister Aurora seated on one side and his girlfriend Ayia on the other side, while Ryoko, the studio’s head director, was seated beside Aurora.

"This is it," Theo whispered, his eyes shining with a mixture of excitement and apprehension as he turned to his sister, Aurora, and his girlfriend, Ayia. They were seated beside him in the theater, just moments away from the debut of their anime, *Sword Art Online*. "I can’t believe it’s finally here. I’m so proud of all of us."

Aurora squeezed his hand, her face illuminated by the soft glow of the theater lights. "We’ve worked so hard for this, Theo. I know it’s going to be amazing. Our studio has such talent, and this anime is going to showcase that to the world." Her voice was steady, but her heart raced with anticipation. She had seen the long hours and dedication that had gone into this project, and she believed in her brother’s vision.

Ayia smiled, her eyes sparkling with encouragement. "You’ve poured your heart and soul into this, babe. I know how much it means to you, and I’m so proud to be here by your side. No matter what happens, just remember that you’ve already accomplished something incredible." She leaned over and kissed him gently on the cheek, her support and love evident in her warm gaze.

Ryoko, seated on the other side of Aurora, shifted in her seat, her eyes darting around the theater. "I can’t believe we’re all here. This feels like a dream."

She couldn’t believe that just a few months ago, she had her dream shattered, and by then, she believed that she would never realize her dream of participating in an anime production. But one person believed in her and gave her a chance to turn things around.

She paused, her eyes landing on Theo. "Your studio has given me an incredible opportunity, and I’m so grateful. I know ’Sword Art Online’ is going to be a huge success. The fans have been eagerly awaiting this moment."

"We’re in this together." Theo simply replied with a happy chuckle.

He himself could barely contain his happiness. This was his anime! An animation that he produced himself! This was a dream becoming reality.

He still remembered dreaming about making his own anime when he watched his favorite animes when he was a kid in the orphanage.

And a lifetime later, he was finally able to realize that childhood dream!

His inner child was certainly over the moon.

Theo held Ayia’s hand as he eagerly waited for the show to start.

As the lights dimmed and the familiar strains of the opening theme song filled the room, a hush fell over the audience. The story of Sword Art Online, with its captivating world of virtual reality and thrilling adventures, unfolded on the screen. The audience was transported to a world where players were trapped in a deadly game, their lives dependent on their skills and wits. The animation, crafted with meticulous attention to detail, brought the light novel to life, and the audience couldn’t help but be drawn into the immersive world.

The art department, led by Brianna, couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction as they witnessed the stunning visuals and intricate details that had been meticulously crafted. The smooth animation and vibrant colors brought their designs to life, and they knew that their hard work had been worth it. As the debut screening progressed, the animators found themselves laughing, cheering, and even shedding a few tears alongside the audience. It was a surreal and rewarding experience to see their labor of love resonating with the viewers.

Aidan from the Compilation Department, Nora from the Editing Department, and Kyo from the music department. Each one of them was new to their positions, and they were realizing their dreams as they watched their beloved work air on national television.

The screening continued, and with each passing scene, the tension in the room mounted. The staff of Tokyo Studios held their breath, hoping that their labor of love would resonate with the audience. Little did they know that this night would be a turning point, not just for their studio but for the entire anime industry. As the final credits rolled and the lights slowly came back on, a wave of applause and cheers filled the theater.
