They had initially expected a man with a child to be messy, with the room being in a state of disarray.
To their surprise, the room was exceptionally clean and tidy, indicating that Liu Yifeng was a very disciplined person.
It was no wonder he could raise such a smart and sensible child. After filming in the room for a while, everyone emerged.
"Tongtong, what do you usually do at home?"
"Um, Papa and I train Da Hei and Da Bai. When the weather is nice, we go fishing for lobsters and shrimp, or feed the chickens."
Speaking of Da Hei, Director Wang felt a psychological shadow cast upon him by the dog. That big black dog had nearly scared him to death.
However, Xia Qianqian was very fond of dogs. She asked with a smile, "Tongtong, how do you usually train the dogs? Can they understand commands?"
"Yes, let's go to the yard." Tongtong walked into the yard and waved at Da Hei and Da Bai. The two dogs wagged their tails joyfully and walked over to him.
Gone was their previous fierce demeanor; instead, they were gentle and adorable.
Yet, Director Wang subconsciously took a few steps back from Da Hei. This subtle change was captured by the cameraman.
This could also create buzz and bring some joy to the audience.
"Sit!" Under everyone's instructions, Tongtong gave the command to Da Hei and Da Bai.
The two dogs sat down almost simultaneously.
"Lie down!"
"Stand up!"
"Turn twice!"
Afterward, no matter what command Tongtong gave, the two dogs would obey.
If he told them to turn twice, they would turn exactly twice, never three times. They were truly intelligent.
And the dogs' intelligence didn't stop there. Tongtong took out a toy ball, threw it into the air, and the two dogs leaped up, vying for it.
Da Hei, being taller, had the advantage. It caught the ball and, as if seeking praise, walked up to Tongtong and spat the ball into his hand.
Tongtong stroked its forehead and said to it, "Da Hei, you scared Uncle Wang earlier. Shouldn't you apologize to him?"
No one believed Da Hei could understand this. After all, they had only arrived today, and Da Hei didn't know them, so how could it know who Uncle Wang was?
However, to their disbelief, Da Hei looked around at everyone in the yard, finally fixing its gaze on Director Wang.
Then, to Director Wang's terrified expression, it slowly walked over to him and let out a soft whimper, as if apologizing.
It then nuzzled his leg with its head, like a child seeking affection, melting the hearts of everyone present.
Director Wang, who had initially developed a fear of Da Hei, lost his initial fear.
He reached out his hand and tentatively stroked its forehead. Da Hei allowed him to do so, not only without resistance but also appearing to enjoy it, its tail wagging like a propeller.
"You're quite an intelligent fellow. You pounced on me at first like you were going to eat me, and now you're as docile as a cat," Director Wang finally managed a smile, no longer resisting Da Hei.
Xia Qianqian watched this magical scene and eagerly asked, "Tongtong, the dogs are so smart. Will they listen to my commands?"
"Da Bai, listen to Aunt Xia's commands." Tongtong didn't answer but looked at Da Bai.
Da Bai immediately trotted over to Xia Qianqian, tilting its head up at her, as if waiting for her command.
Seeing this incredible sight, Xia Qianqian covered her mouth in astonishment.
There was indeed a significant difference between dogs raised by a genius and those raised by ordinary people.
She then mimicked Tongtong and gave Da Bai a series of commands.
Da Bai followed them all correctly, giving Xia Qianqian a sense of accomplishment she had never felt before, as if it were her own training achievement.
Finally, she scooped up Da Bai and hugged it tightly, "Da Bai, you're amazing!"
"Tongtong, do you have any secrets to training dogs to be so smart and obedient? Can you share them with us?" Director Wang asked curiously, his hand still on Da Hei.
"The most important thing in training dogs is patience. Their intelligence isn't low at all. As long as you guide them correctly and use rewards and encouragement, they will be willing to learn," Tongtong replied earnestly.
Just then, Liu Yifeng, having finished washing the dishes, entered the yard and saw everyone petting his dogs.
Seeing Liu Yifeng, Director Wang said, "Mr. Liu, I just heard Tongtong say that you usually take him out to play and train the dogs with him. Have you never forced him to learn anything in his studies?"
Liu Yifeng walked over to Tongtong, smiled, and shook his head, "To be honest, I don't believe in prioritizing studies for such young children, robbing them of their childhood.
I am content as long as Tongtong is happy every day. Everything he knows, he learned on his own."
"Indeed, talent is more important than effort!" Director Wang offered a pertinent comment.
"Director Wang, is there anything you need us to film? Should I do anything?" Liu Yifeng changed the subject.
"No special preparation is needed. We're just filming your daily life. Do whatever you normally do, but don't forget our female guest; it wouldn't be good to leave her neglected," Director Wang reminded them.
Since they would only edit a portion of the footage, they didn't need to be overly careful with their words.
Liu Yifeng looked at Xia Qianqian, who was playing with Da Bai, and smiled as he invited, "Miss Xia, Tongtong and I are going to the back mountain to pick some honeysuckle for my father to make tea. Would you like to come?"
"I'd love to! It's a good chance to climb the mountain and get some exercise," Xia Qianqian immediately agreed.
Thus, Liu Yifeng took Tongtong's hand and led everyone toward the back mountain.
Da Hei and Da Bai also followed.
At this hour, the villagers were already awake. Many, returning from their vegetable patches, greeted Liu Yifeng as they passed.
They all greeted him enthusiastically, but they were puzzled to see Liu Yifeng with several strangers and a camera crew.
Liu Yifeng hadn't told them that Tongtong was participating in the "Super Brain" program.
So, he simply explained that they were invited to film their daily lives as a keepsake.
The villagers accepted this explanation and harbored no suspicion. Otherwise, if they had known they could be on television, they would have certainly sought to appear in front of the cameras, and a large crowd would have gathered.
This was also why Liu Yifeng chose not to tell the truth; he didn't want a crowd following them, which would be too uncomfortable.
"Mr. Liu, it seems you have quite good standing in the village. Many villagers greet you proactively with good attitudes," Xia Qianqian remarked.
Liu Yifeng smiled faintly, "The people in our village are very kind."
"Even if they are kind, the fact that they greet you proactively indicates you are a good person. Otherwise, why wouldn't they greet each other, but only you?" Xia Qianqian's words were met with approval from everyone present.
They were all from rural backgrounds. Although people in the countryside were generally simple and lacked complex machinations, only those with good interpersonal skills were widely liked.
Liu Yifeng clearly fit this description, suggesting he must have done something for the villagers.
