Ah Hua and the others paid no mind to this, their blades constantly killing.
Gazing at the silver-haired youth before him, Krieger broke out in a cold sweat. He knew the weight of his gun; it was over a thousand kilograms.
The opponent had not only blocked his slash but had done so with such casual ease.
Suddenly, an unparalleled force surged through the gun he held, and he quickly let go.
With a single exertion, Kong Tai pulled the Great Battle Spear closer, lifted it, and as if discarding trash, tossed it aside.
*Bang!*
The Great Battle Spear smashed a hole in the deck and fell into the sea.
Kong Tai paid little attention to Krieger, his gaze shifting to Kuina.
Kuina was currently locked in a fierce struggle with Arjin and Boro.
No, this couldn't be called a struggle; it was a one-sided crushing.
Were it not for Boro's defense, the two of them would have been defeated in a few exchanges.
Arjin was now lying behind Boro, unmoving.
However, the slight rise and fall of his chest indicated he was still alive.
A horizontal cut across his entire body bled profusely from his chest, the blood flowing over his body and dripping onto the deck, dyeing a large area red.
With such blood loss, if he didn't receive treatment, it was believed that soon there would be another corpse here.
Kuina looked at the shield-bearer opposite her. This fellow's defense was truly astonishing; he could block her slashes, even if they were just normal ones.
She turned to look around and found there were still many pirates.
And more pirates were continuously surging out of the ship's cabins. Looking at Ah Hua and the other two, they were already surrounded by pirates.
Seeing them back-to-back, their stamina would soon be depleted.
After all, they weren't swordsmen and couldn't attack multiple enemies at once; they could only kill one by one.
She retracted her gaze, and a hint of seriousness appeared on Kuina's cold, calm face as she looked up at Boro.
To injure this fellow, she would first have to cut through his thick shield.
Kuina slowly sheathed her sword.
She leaned forward, stepping back a small pace with her right foot, bending her left leg, and tightly gripping the hilt of her sword with her right hand.
A faint black gas gradually coiled around the blade, flowing from her right hand.
She raised her head, her eyes looking at Boro indifferently, as if at a dead man.
*Swish!*
Only a flash of the blade cutting past Boro could be seen.
Kuina instantly vanished from her spot and reappeared behind Boro, her movement as if she had never moved.
*Clang!*
This was the sound of the sword being sheathed.
"Ittoryu: Banbutsu Zan."
Kuina stood up and walked towards Kong Tai, not glancing at Boro again.
Boro stood frozen in place, unmoving, until Kuina walked past him, stirring a faint breeze, which finally broke his stillness.
"Ah!"
He suddenly cried out in pain and fell backward.
His chest shield, it turned out, had split in the middle and slid open to either side.
Through the shield, a long, narrow sword wound that had nearly cut him in half could be seen.
*Gush!*
Blood spurted out from the wound like a waterfall.
Boro crashed onto the deck with a thud, unconscious, and it seemed he wouldn't survive.
"Lord Boro!"
The surrounding pirates cried out in unison, filled with terror.
Hearing the commotion behind him, Krieger knew he couldn't wait any longer. He had to find a way to escape; the silver-haired opponent was too terrifying.
He watched Kuina pass by.
The armor on his arm quietly transformed into a cannon barrel, a gas mask was donned over his face, and he raised the cannon barrel on his back, firing a shot at Kuina's retreating back.
"Poison Gas Bomb..."
After all, in this world, no one could kill him.
Unless there were some miraculous powers he was unaware of.
"Hey, can you three still move?"
Kong Tai looked at the three figures sitting amidst the pirates and shouted.
"Don't worry, I can still fight ten more!"
Ah Hua quickly jumped up, raising his hands and shouting.
"You? Who was it just now, almost getting stabbed?"
A Luo stood up, brushed the dust off his pants, and taunted Ah Hua.
"You scoundrel..."
He had indeed been almost ambushed by a pirate just now, and it was A Luo who saved him from injury.
A Tao, standing beside them, gave them a helpless look and took out a cigarette, lighting it.
These two were fighting side-by-side just moments ago, and now they were bickering again.
"Alright, alright, let's go and check out the spoils!"
With that, Kong Tai turned and headed towards the second floor of the ship's cabin, the captain's room.
...
*Creak!*
Pushing open the old wooden door before him, he could see treasures scattered carelessly around the room, along with mountains of Berries.
These before him were likely what Krieger's pirate crew had plundered this trip.
It seemed they hadn't had time to process them yet; one could see fresh, dark red bloodstains on some of the Berries.
Kong Tai casually swept his gaze around the room, finding nothing particularly special, and immediately lost interest.
"You guys organize this stuff and move it back!"
He turned and said this to Ah Hua and the others, then pulled Kuina back to the Pseudo-Merry.
