Chapter 1329: Chapter 454: Los Angeles Is Getting a Little Crowded

“Of course!”

Cameron Block and Maurice Rothschild walked together towards the study on the second floor.

While Ham Gianini was chatting enthusiastically with a woman beside him on the dance floor, he was actually keeping an eye on Cameron Block and Maurice Rothschild. As soon as he saw them heading upstairs, leaving only Emma Harrison and Norma Schiller, he stopped talking to the woman next to him and walked straight towards Emma Harrison and Norma Schiller.

Ham Gianini’s actions left the woman, who thought she had gained his favor, at a loss because her male companion had already left her by then.

“Two beautiful ladies, it’s really unromantic of Block and Rothschild to leave you both and go off on their own!”

Ham Gianini said with a smile as he talked to Emma Harrison and Norma Schiller.

Emma Harrison glanced at Ham Gianini and left without a word.

Ham Gianini grabbed Emma Harrison’s hand, trying to hold her back, but Emma Harrison didn’t give him the chance. She swung her other hand towards Ham Gianini’s face but stopped halfway, changing her motion to simply pushing his hand away.

Even though she was smiling, her voice was exceptionally cold: “Mr. Gianini, I know you’re looking for a way to leave here, but if you try anything else, I guarantee you’ll be carried out!”

Ham Gianini spread his hands and chuckled: “Miss Harrison, there’s no need to be so agitated. I just wanted to make friends with you, of course, if you’re unwilling, I won’t force it!”

Emma Harrison smiled and walked away, leaving Norma Schiller somewhat at a loss!

Inside Cameron Block’s study.

Maurice Rothschild sat on the sofa, while Cameron Block leaned against his desk.

“Mr. Block, aren’t you worried that Gianini might do something to Miss Harrison?”

Cameron Block laughed and said, “If that’s the case, Gianini should be praying that God isn’t asleep at this moment!”

Maurice Rothschild’s expression changed slightly. He was a devout Jewish man with absolute faith in God, also known as Yahweh.

They emphasize the connection between the individual and God, believing that every pure Jewish person is considered a part of God’s people.

So, Cameron Block’s joke about God didn’t please Maurice Rothschild, but he said nothing.

Cameron Block smiled and said, “Alright, Maurice, now there’s just the two of us. Let’s talk about the cooperation you mentioned earlier!”

Maurice Rothschild smiled again and said, “What do you think about a collaboration to control the entire Hollywood?”

Cameron Block showed an expression of disdain without hesitation: “Maurice, I know your Rothschild family is making a full push into Hollywood, but what’s the use of that? So far, not a single studio can operate without Venus Bank. So now, do you want us to help the Rothschild family establish a new family in Hollywood that can rival the Block Family?”

Maurice Rothschild waved his hand and said, “I don’t deny Venus Bank’s control over Hollywood, but Cameron, you should understand that the film industry is a creative industry. No one can guarantee the success of a film before it meets the audience.

In such a situation, we can only have more faith in those creators, those who have had successful experiences. Interestingly, we have many talented creators among our Jewish people.

As for Hollywood… it’s just a name. If needed, we could even find a new place, support a few film companies, build several cinemas, and then you would lose your best partner but gain the strongest enemy!”

While Hollywood isn’t yet dominated by Jewish moguls as it would later be, numerous Jewish directors and actors are already emerging.

Some film studio owners are even of Jewish descent.

Under Maurice Rothschild’s gaze, Cameron Block nodded slightly, acknowledging Maurice Rothschild’s point.

“So how do you propose we cooperate?”

Suppressing his excitement, Maurice Rothschild smiled and said, “Of course, each should do their part. I suppose you, Cameron, wouldn’t want to jointly set up a new company with us, the Rothschild family. We just need to continue following our family’s plan to control Hollywood. Once there are no voices in Hollywood to compete with us, we will establish some rules that will be highly beneficial to both parties.

For example, in movies from Hollywood, there should be no condemnation of the spinach industry, or content promoting our products, and of course, Hollywood films should also highlight the benevolence of the Jewish people!”

Cameron Block chuckled: “Maurice, you’re quite the advocate for the entire Jewish community!”
