Chapter 304 Beerus Awakens

Majin Buu was thus annihilated, and there was no distinction between good Buu or bad Buu.

When Vegeta returned and discovered this, he didn't say much.

This world has been messed up by me.

It could only be because Kakarot grew too fast.

There was almost no role for Son Gohan.

Son Gohan also did not receive help from the Old Kai to become Mystic Gohan.

The reason was simple; Son Gohan was currently in Universe 10.

There wasn't much connection with Universe 7.

Furthermore, Son Gohan had finally realized his dream and become a great scientist.

Time passed day by day.

...

Universe 7.

A certain planet in the universe.

Beerus was savoring the delicacies of this planet.

Whis stood by Beerus's side, accompanying him.

"Faster, faster, faster!" the planet's lord repeatedly urged, instructing his subordinates to bring out better food.

Beerus ate and drank to his heart's content, a faint smile on his face.

"Lord Beerus... are these delicacies alright?" the planet's lord asked. "These are all top-grade delicacies prepared for you by our planet's famous chefs."

"Let me try this," Beerus swirled the wine glass in his hand and downed the strange liquid within.

The planet's lord broke out in a cold sweat, secretly rejoicing.

That stuff was poison.

I'll poison you to death!

After drinking the poisoned wine, Beerus continued to savor the food with great pleasure.

The planet's lord's expression changed drastically when he found Beerus seemingly unaffected.

"These things taste alright, they suit my palate," Beerus said with a smile.

"Is that so... what an honor," the planet's lord wiped his sweat.

"But then again, you kid, you didn't really think poison could kill me, did you?" Beerus sneered.

"What?" the planet's lord was startled.

Whis sighed helplessly from the side.

"Poison... don't joke, Lord Beerus! How could it be poison? Perhaps these foods don't suit your taste," the planet's lord quickly denied.

"Enough, that's sufficient!" Beerus snorted. "It's a pity, but as per the original agreement, destroying this planet is the correct choice."

"Damn it! If that's the case!" the planet's lord pulled out the planet's most advanced weapon and unleashed a barrage of fire at Beerus.

Beerus casually raised a hand, easily blocking all the attacks.

Following that, destructive energy flickered in Beerus's hand, rapidly engulfing the planet.

"Crack!"

Instantly, the planet turned into nothingness, disappearing completely.

The next moment, Beerus and Whis floated in space, silently watching the vanished planet.

"In the end, it was destroyed as planned," Whis mused.

"Yes, we can't let these guys live anymore," Beerus nodded, then patted his forehead, suddenly remembering something. "I think I remembered something, I saw someone in a dream."

"A dream? What dream?" Whis was taken aback.

"A premonition dream!" Beerus smiled.

"A premonition dream? Who did you see in the dream?" Whis asked.

"A super warrior who could bring me pleasure, I think his name was Super Saiyan God," Beerus grinned.

"Super Saiyan God?" Whis pondered.

"That should be the name, no mistake," Beerus chuckled.

"Let's head back first," Whis suggested.

"Let's go," Beerus nodded.

The next moment, Whis and Beerus swiftly returned to the God of Destruction's realm.

"Prophecy Fish, come out," Beerus called out.

The Prophecy Fish leaped rapidly from the lake and appeared beside Beerus.

"Prophecy Fish, tell me about Super Saiyan God," Beerus said.

"Huh? Lord Beerus knows about Super Saiyan God too?" the Prophecy Fish was surprised.

"I dreamed it in my premonition dream," Beerus nodded.

"Yes, you will indeed meet a Super Saiyan God, he is a very powerful individual," the Prophecy Fish nodded.

"Whis, see, I knew it! My ultimate opponent has appeared," Beerus smiled.

"Since the Prophecy Fish says so, then there's no problem," Whis replied.

Then, Whis sidled up to the Prophecy Fish.

"Lord Beerus doesn't know about Mr. Vegeta yet, does he?" Whis asked.

"You haven't told him, have you?" the Prophecy Fish inquired.

"No, I'm not that gossipy," Whis smiled.

"Then he definitely doesn't know!" the Prophecy Fish nodded. "I really wonder if he'll do something excessive if he finds out about Vegeta."

"It's better not to tell him, let him explore it himself," Whis sighed.

"I think that's a good idea," the Prophecy Fish nodded.

"What are you two talking about?" Beerus approached, looking at Whis and the Prophecy Fish. "Are you hiding something from me?"

"No, absolutely not," the Prophecy Fish shook his head vigorously.

"Never mind," Beerus didn't dwell on it and said to Whis, "You should hurry and investigate Super Saiyan God for me."

"This... alright," Whis nodded, not wanting to refuse, and then symbolically investigated with his staff, replying, "Currently, there are no Saiyans left in our universe."

"You... what did you say? There are no Saiyans in our universe?" Beerus was slightly stunned, then patted his forehead. "I remember now, before I went to sleep, I had Frieza destroy the Saiyan planet! That's a shame, it looks like it's over! Super Saiyan God is just an empty talk."

"Oh my, oh my, I found a Saiyan, he is the Prince of Saiyans," Whis suddenly said.

"Oh? The Prince of Saiyans? Could it be that guy named Vegeta?" Beerus asked.

"Not him, it's Mr. Vegeta's younger brother," Whis replied.

"Vegeta's brother?" Beerus was taken aback. "Could he be Super Saiyan God? Let's go ask him."

"He's not. His combat ability is very ordinary, to be precise, he belongs to the Saiyan logistics department and is not suitable for combat," Whis explained.

"Not suitable for combat?" Beerus was distressed. "It seems Super Saiyan God and the like don't exist."

Whis didn't reply.

"By the way Whis, is that guy named Vegeta also dead?" Beerus asked casually.

"Oh dear... he's still alive," Whis replied.

Although Whis wasn't particularly gossipy, he wasn't an angel who liked to lie.

Since Beerus asked, Whis couldn't help but answer.
