"Enough, you don't need to say such alarmist things," Vegeta snorted. "If you meet an opponent you can't handle, just find a way to defeat him."
"What you say makes a lot of sense," Rumssi nodded. "With your current strength, as long as you don't provoke the God of Destruction, I don't think anyone in all the universes would be your match."
"Don't praise me too much, I'll get arrogant," Vegeta smiled.
Rumssi: "..."
Kusu: "..."
"Think more about the matter of immortality. It will take some time to collect the Dragon Balls anyway," Rumssi said.
"I've decided, I'll choose immortality," Vegeta replied firmly. "This has been my wish for a very, very long time, and I want to fulfill it."
"A wish from a very, very long time ago?" Rumssi blinked.
"In any case, let's gather the Dragon Balls first," Vegeta said. "Without all the Dragon Balls, everything is just empty talk."
"You have a point," Rumssi nodded.
The three soon entered the Void of Nothingness.
Another two hours passed, and Vegeta and the other two traveled from the Void of Nothingness to the Seventh Universe.
"This is the Seventh Universe, Vegeta," Rumssi smiled.
Vegeta: "..."
You think I don't recognize our universe?
"About how long will it take to find the Dragon Balls?" Vegeta inquired.
Rumssi immediately looked at Kusu.
"According to my estimation, it will take about seven days to collect all the Dragon Balls," Kusu mused. "After all, searching for a single Dragon Ball in a universe is quite a time-consuming task."
"Alright, I'll find a planet to wait for you and prepare some delicious food," Vegeta suggested. "When you've collected all the Dragon Balls, contact me, or just have the Dragon God grant my wish for immortality."
Kusu: "..."
Rumssi: "..."
Kusu and Rumssi exchanged a glance, then looked at Vegeta with darkened faces.
So, you're making us two work for you?
You're not doing anything?
"I'm not doing nothing, I'm preparing delicious food for you," Vegeta said.
"That's true... but I still feel a bit displeased..." Rumssi swayed his elephant trunk.
"If you think about it this way... someone has been working for you for 1000 years, and you're only helping me find the Dragon Balls for seven days. Is that even a big deal?" Vegeta retorted.
"Now that you put it that way, I feel much better," Rumssi thought about it carefully and nodded.
"What about me?" Kusu rolled her eyes.
"I'll treat you well in the future, Kusu," Vegeta grinned. "Uh... I'll treat you to milk, have you had it before?"
"Milk?" Kusu blinked slightly.
Kusu had never actually drunk milk.
After all, dietary habits vary from universe to universe.
Kusu and her kind drank milk from other animals.
It tasted completely different from cow's milk.
"You haven't had it before, have you?" Vegeta asked with a smile.
"Indeed, I haven't," Kusu nodded.
"My milk is delicious," Vegeta said.
"Really?" Kusu pondered. "Alright, then I must try it."
"It's a deal," Vegeta stepped forward and excitedly took Kusu's hand.
Kusu looked at him with a puzzled expression.
Isn't it just about drinking your milk?
Why are you so excited?
Never mind, I won't argue with this little brat.
Let's go find the Dragon Balls for him first.
"Check the communicator, so you can contact me after finding the Dragon Balls," Vegeta said, taking out the communicator Kusu had given him.
"Don't worry, it's fine. This thing won't break that easily," Kusu said without even checking.
"Then why did the communicator Whis gave me last time break?" Vegeta asked.
"This... this I don't know," Kusu felt a little guilty.
I broke your communicator last time.
I'm just not telling you.
"Kusu, can you hear me?" Vegeta pressed the button.
"Beep, beep..."
Then, Vegeta saw the scepter in Kusu's hand flicker a few times and even vibrate slightly.
And, due to the vibration, Kusu's body also shook slightly.
This scene was quite spectacular.
Vegeta stared intently at Kusu.
You have to admit... it looked quite appealing.
"See? You received it, right?" Kusu smiled, showing Vegeta the scepter in her hand.
"Kusu, does this stick vibrate whenever I press this button?" Vegeta asked.
Kusu: "..."
What are you saying?
Even though I understand what you mean, I feel like there's something more to your words.
"Yes... yes..." Kusu replied truthfully.
"Next time, lend me this stick. It seems quite fun," Vegeta grinned.
"What do you want my scepter for?" Kusu blinked.
"To let my girlfriend play with," Vegeta said with a smile.
"Your girlfriend? How old are you? You already have a girlfriend?" Kusu was speechless.
"This has nothing to do with age," Vegeta said with a smile.
"I can't do anything with you. Let's find the Dragon Balls as quickly as possible," Kusu said. "Which planet are you planning to go to next?"
"I'll look around. Let's split up here," Vegeta said to Kusu and Rumssi.
"Kid, the universe is vast, don't get lost," Rumssi warned. "Also, don't accidentally wander onto Beerus's planet. That guy has a very short temper, be careful you don't get destroyed by him."
"I know," Vegeta nodded. "I'm not that stupid, why would I go to Beerus's planet?"
"I'm just telling you, you know it yourself," Rumssi said, and then to Kusu, "Kusu, have you found the location of the first Dragon Ball?"
"I have. Let's go, Lord Rumssi," Kusu said.
"Let's go," Rumssi nodded.
The two transformed into two streaks of light of different colors and flew rapidly towards the direction of the first Dragon Ball.
After Kusu and Rumssi left.
Vegeta hovered in the starlit sky and slowly closed his eyes.
Immediately after, Vegeta released his senses, attempting to scan the entire universe.
Vegeta's sensing ability spread rapidly outwards from himself as the center.
Vegeta could clearly sense Frieza's aura appearing at a very distant location from him.
As well as Frieza's brother Cooler, and Frieza's father King Cold.
Even the auras of Dodoria and Zarbon were clearly perceived by Vegeta.
Vegeta had no interest in Frieza and the others, and continued to expand his senses outwards.
