Chapter 55: Fen Ziyan (2)

Chapter 55: Chapter 55: Fen Ziyan (2)

"Eh? Senior Sister Fen, are you alright?" Li Feng asked, his tone gentle and concerned as he knelt down on one knee beside her and placing his hand on her shoulder while his eyes inadvertently lingered on her still alluring figure.

"..."

Fen Ziyan didn’t reply as she remained still, and continue hugging her knees until her generous, ample chest pressed against them, causing the softness to spill out slightly, while her head buried tightly against her arms.

Silence hung heavy in the air.

"Senior Sister...?" Li Feng’s voice shook a little, a feeling of real worry creeping in.

Something was definitely wrong, and then he gently pushed her head forward and froze.

His eyes widened as he saw Fen Ziyan face, the proud and haughty princess he was so used to seeing, looked nothing like herself before. The fire that always seem to burned in her crimson eyes was gone, replaced with a lost, fragile look he had never seen before.

And her usual sharp elegance was gone, replaced by raw, vulnerable exhaustion as if the weight of the world, or perhaps her own long failure, had finally crushed her.

Li Feng’s heart skipped a beat at the sight. He had clearly underestimated how vicious those female disciples could be... and maybe even overestimated Fen Ziyan’s mental strength

He didn’t realize that Fen Ziyan had essentially been a spoiled princess, someone who always got what she wanted, and for whom everything had always gone her way. No one ever dared resist her because of her status and talent. But now, facing her first real hardship, her confidence had shattered completely, leaving her vulnerability exposed for the first time.

Li Feng, seeing this, felt conflicted. A part of him wanted to step forward and comfort her, yet another part, a darker, more mischievous side, stirred at the thought of how easily her condition could now be manipulated.

However, for some reason, this version of Fen Ziyan displeased him a bit. He wanted to push down an arrogant and haughty princess, not this emotionless and broken version. He felt that even if he were to push her down now, Fen Ziyan probably wouldn’t resist, and this thought greatly displeased him for some reason.

"Stand up," Li Feng suddenly said, his voice low and firm. "The Senior Sister Fen I know isn’t someone weak like this."

He decided to adjust his plan a bit. Since the world had abandoned her... he would just have to become her new world.

"She is someone who looks down on everyone with complete confidence. Someone who commands attention without asking for it. Someone whose pride and strength are undeniable, and whose spirit could move mountains," Li Feng continued, repeating some of the lines he had read online back on Earth.

Fen Ziyan trembled slightly hearing his word, her lips parting as if she wanted to protest, but no words came out.

Seeing this Li Feng leaned a little closer, his voice softening, turning almost gentle.

"Senior Sister Fen... I know you are smart, brave, and strong. You always make people notice you and never back down from anyone. You’ve faced challenges, insults, and countless tests, yet you’ve always stood tall... always been better than others. You are amazing, never forget that."

Like a little child finally finding someone to lean on, Fen Ziyan whispered, "But... everyone looks down on me now, and I... I couldn’t advance."

Li Feng gripped her shoulders firmly, lifting her chin so she had no choice but to meet his eyes. "I don’t care about others. Nor should you!" His voice was strong, steady, and protective, a tone she hadn’t heard in a long time, yet somehow comforting.

Meanwhile, seeing her face, so fragile, beautiful, and vulnerable, Li Feng felt a strong urge to kiss her. But he stopped himself, knowing that waiting patiently now would yield a greater reward later.

Suppressing his desire, Li Feng forced himself to stay composed and continue.

"Stand up, Senior Sister Fen," he said, his voice firm but kind. "If you don’t believe in yourself, then believe in me, the one who believes in you. No one else matters right now. From now on, we’ll face this together, and I will make sure you grow even stronger and brighter, just as you deserve."

Li Feng couldn’t help but cringe a little at how cliché the line sounded but for Fen Ziyan, it felt like a new light just shine in her darkest time. Her lips trembled, and for a moment, she leaned a little closer to him.

Inside, she felt something start to grow again, a bit of confidence, a touch of pride, and a hint of curiosity. It was like a small flame that hadn’t gone out completely.

Fen Ziyan didn’t realize it yet, but each word from Li Feng was slowly helping her rebuild herself and also quietly, it was making her rely on him more than ever.

She repeated his words quietly in her head, holding onto them like a lifeline: "Believe in me... believe in yourself... you are amazing..." Each thought helped her feel a little stronger and breathe a little easier.

Soon, Fen Ziyan’s chest finally lifted a little, and her eyes shone with the first real hint of her old pride.

Meanwhile, Li Feng by her side watched her with a small, satisfied smile.

[Ding! Congratulations! Host, you’ve gained 100 Favor Points.]

Li Feng blinked in surprise after seeing the notification. He had gotten so caught up in the moment that he completely forgot he was also doing it to earn Favor Points too.

For some reason, he started to feel a tiny bit ashamed that he had been enjoying himself too much lately, and completely forgetting about the system.

Fen Ziyan’s fingers curled lightly in her lap as she took a long breath. The warmth of Li Feng’s gaze and the sound of his words stirred something inside her fragile mind. Slowly, almost hesitantly, she lifted her head and met his eyes.

"You’re... right. I am strong..." she whispered, a faint hint of determination passing through her voice.

Li Feng’s hands stayed firm on her shoulders, while guiding her gently. "That’s right," he said softly. "Now stand up, Senior Sister Fen. Show me the woman I know you are."

Her legs shook, but she pushed through her fear and slowly rose to her feet. Her eyes, still showing some vulnerability, now held a small spark of pride. She repeated his words quietly in her mind: "I am amazing... I am strong... I can rise." Each thought made her stand taller at the same time.

Li Feng’s gaze softened slightly, though the faint smirk in his eyes gave away his true intention. "Senior Sister Fen," he said, lowering his voice just enough to draw her closer, "you know... like I told you before, I have a way to help you advance."

Fen Ziyan’s brows lifted as she finally remembered Li Feng’s words. "Advance? Is... there really a way?" she asked, her voice almost breathless and nervous as this bottleneck had already become a traumatic experience for her.

"Yes," Li Feng replied, firm but coaxing. "But it’s not something I can show here... it involves a... secret of mine. So let go back to my place and we will discuss properly there.."

Fen Ziyan, having regained some of her confidence after her first helpless moment, nodded without any hesitation. And she didn’t realize it yet, but a quiet fondness and a subtle dependence on Li Feng was already beginning to grow.

Seeing this, Li Feng’s smile widened. "Then let’s go."

But after only a few steps, Fen Ziyan’s legs wavered and grew weak. Li Feng immediately caught her, holding her gently at his side.

His hand rested lightly on her waist, sinking slightly into the soft flesh. "This... let me help you," he murmured again, his voice soft but reassuring. The warmth in his tone felt like a shield, giving her permission to lean on him without guilt or shame.

Strangely, Fen Ziyan felt no discomfort at his touch. A faint blush spread across her cheeks as she nodded slightly, quietly allowing herself to lean on him.

Li Feng adjusted his hold slightly, guiding her careful steps as they continued toward his residence, while enjoying the feeling of her soft side breast and delicate waist against his chest and hand.

"Good... just like that," he said softly, a faint smile touching his lips. "Step by step. You don’t need to push yourself alone and I’ll always be right here."

He continued whispering brainw— encouragements, mixing gentle guidance with subtle reminders that she could rely on him, treating her like a lost little child who didn’t know where to go.

"Why... do you go so far for me?" Fen Ziyan’s lips parted slightly, a mix of anticipation and nervousness shining in her eyes.

Li Feng’s heart beat a little faster both from the closeness and from the satisfaction of seeing her slowly return to herself, though this time tied to him in ways she didn’t yet fully understand.

He smiled faintly, his voice soft but firm. "Because I believe in you, and I’ve always admired you, Senior Sister Fen. That’s why I won’t let someone like you lose your way."

Hearing his answer, Fen Ziyan tried to hold back a smile, but it slipped into a hint of smugness as she asked softly, "Then... am I talented? Am I strong?"

"Of course you are," Li Feng replied, continuing to praise her as they moved. "Senior Sister Fen is the strongest and most talented."

Each word seemed to lift her spirits, and she squirmed slightly at every little compliment, warmth and delight spreading through her so much so that she barely noticed his hand at her waist subtly moving, tracing and caressing the soft curves of her body.

"Just a little further, Senior Sister Fen," Li Feng soon added, keeping his hand steady at her soft waist. "Then you’ll be safe inside.... You can rest there from now on, and we’ll talk about this secret of mine and soon, you’ll definitely be able to advance."

By the time they reached his residence, Fen Ziyan had regained some of her old confidence. But whether it was really her true self....or a new version shaped by Li Feng, no one could tell.
