Chapter 56 Stand Up

Speaking, under everyone’s watchful eyes, Yang Yan actually took out a knife.

“Boss, don’t do anything rash.”

Just then, another young man with medium-length hair grabbed Yang Yan’s hand.

Yang Yan gave the young man a cold look. “Yue Xiaopeng, let go!”

Yue Xiaopeng didn’t loosen his grip and quickly said, “Boss, you said you were just going to teach this punk a lesson, not use a knife. If you use a knife, we’ll all end up back in jail.”

Hearing Yue Xiaopeng’s words, the others quickly chimed in.

“That’s right, boss. There’s no point in arguing with an idiot like this. A good beating should suffice, no need for a knife.”

“The food in prison isn’t as good as what we eat out here. Boss, think twice.”

“Boss, it’s not that we’re defying you, it’s just that we really don’t want to go back to that dark, hopeless place.”

Under their persuasion,

Yang Yan said irritably, “Understood.”

He then put the knife away.

He then slapped Wang Hu on the other side of his face.

“Idiot, look at you now. I almost didn’t recognize you. Zhang Panxue was truly blind to have ever liked you.”

The two slaps sent Wang Hu’s anger soaring.

If the other party hadn't outnumbered him, he would have already charged forward.

However, Yang Yan had no intention of letting Wang Hu off.

The more Wang Hu cowered, the more it stoked Yang Yan’s perverse desire.

“Idiot, do you know you’re a complete waste?”

Yang Yan slapped Wang Hu’s face again.

As the saying goes, you don’t hit someone in the face.

But Yang Yan loved hitting faces. Seeing Wang Hu’s plump face contort under his palm gave him a perverse thrill.

This person, whom Zhang Panxue had firmly chosen.

Now groveling at his feet like a dog.

Yang Yan grabbed Wang Hu’s hair and sneered, “Kneel and call me daddy, and I’ll let you go. How about that?”

He wanted to completely destroy Wang Hu’s dignity.

Saying that, he took out his phone and tossed it to one of his lackeys. “Record this.”

This was the last straw.

Seizing the moment Yang Yan was distracted, Wang Hu punched him square in the face.

Even though he was overweight, his flesh hadn’t grown in vain.

With this punch, Yang Yan was instantly knocked to the ground.

His lackeys were momentarily stunned, and Wang Hu, with a ferocious look in his eyes, charged towards the slimmest of the young men.

Yue Xiaopeng’s face changed drastically. Wang Hu was like a mountain of flesh; if he collided with him, he’d be smashed to pieces.

Yue Xiaopeng chickened out and chose to dodge.

Wang Hu successfully broke through.

Yang Yan, enraged, scrambled to his feet and shouted, “Chase him!”

Wang Hu hadn’t exercised in a long time.

Coupled with his weight.

He was panting after only a few steps.

As his speed slowed, Yang Yan and his group closed the distance.

Wang Hu didn’t dare to stop and could only run forward with all his might.

Pedestrians saw the crowd chasing and quickly moved out of the way, not wanting to get involved.

Ten minutes later, Wang Hu finally couldn’t take it anymore.

He stopped, gasping for breath.

Yang Yan rushed forward and punched Wang Hu directly in the face. “I’ll make you run, you bastard!”

After taking the punch, Wang Hu had no strength left to resist and collapsed onto the ground, drenched in sweat.

Yang Yan’s lackeys also swarmed forward, delivering kicks and punches to Wang Hu.

“Stop!”

Just then, a voice rang out.

Zhou Dewen rushed over with a brick in his hand. “Get lost, all of you!”

“You want to die?”

Yang Yan looked at Zhou Dewen with a menacing glare.

Zhou Dewen was terrified, but he couldn’t back down. After all, this was his brother’s friend.

“I’ve already called the police!”

Zhou Dewen shouted.

“Boss, let’s get out of here quickly.”

Yue Xiaopeng said urgently upon hearing about the police.

“Called the police?”

Yang Yan let out a maniacal laugh. “You dare call the police? Stop threatening me.”

With that, he lunged towards Zhou Dewen.

“Scram!”

Zhou Dewen panicked, brandishing the brick and shouting in a shaky voice.

Yang Yan didn’t slow his charge, only quickened it.

Seeing this, Zhou Dewen threw the brick at Yang Yan and turned to run.

Damn it, if you can’t fight, you run.

The brick missed Yang Yan. Seeing Zhou Dewen flee, Yang Yan also stopped.

He then picked up the brick from the ground and walked towards Wang Hu with a sinister grin.

“Idiot, do you think this will hurt when I smash it on your head?”

Yang Yan chuckled sinisterly.

He was like a pervert.

“Boss, you can’t just smash it. If you’re not careful, someone could die.”

Yue Xiaopeng quickly tried to intervene.

“Why do you talk so much?”

Yang Yan roared. “This is no good, that’s no good. You be the boss then?”

Yue Xiaopeng flinched and waved his hands. “I don’t want to be the boss, but you really can’t just smash bricks around, boss. Back in my village, two guys were fighting, and one of them impulsively hit the other with a brick. The guy died on the spot, and the other one’s still in jail.”

“Enough!”

Yang Yan was annoyed by Yue Xiaopeng’s incessant chatter. His eyes dangerous, he said, “If you keep babbling, I’ll smash you too!”

Yue Xiaopeng exchanged glances with his brothers, signaling them not to let their boss act impulsively.

However, they all pretended not to see. When Yang Yan got angry, no one dared to provoke him.

Yang Yan walked up to Wang Hu, brick in hand, and sneered, “Idiot, I heard you have a younger brother in his third year of high school?”

Hearing this, Wang Hu looked up and said coldly, “Don’t you dare lay a hand on my family. Otherwise, I’ll drag you to hell with me, even if it costs me my life today.”

Yang Yan’s lips curled into a playful smile. “You want me not to touch your brother? Then kneel and beg me, call me daddy, and we’ll call it even.”

As for whether it would truly be even, only Yang Yan himself knew.

Wang Hu wavered. If his humiliation could ensure his brother’s safety, he was willing to do it.

This Yang Yan was a madman. His brother’s college entrance exams were approaching, and he couldn’t afford to have his future ruined.

With that thought, Wang Hu said with reddened eyes, “You swear?”

“I swear.”

Yang Yan then said to his lackeys again, “Remember to record this.”

Wang Hu struggled to get up from the ground and resolutely knelt down.

“Get up, brother.”

Just then, a male voice called out.

Everyone looked behind them. A handsome young man, bathed in sunlight, walked towards them, his shadow stretching long behind him.

“Xiao Yue?”

Wang Hu was taken aback, then quickly shouted, “You, get out of here quickly!”

He feared Yang Yan would do something extreme.

“You’re the idiot’s brother?”

Yang Yan looked at Wang Yue, a smile creeping onto his dark face.

So handsome. It would be incredibly satisfying to ruin someone like this, wouldn’t it?

Yang Yan thought to himself.

Wang Yue walked towards Yang Yan step by step.

Yue Xiaopeng instinctively took a couple of steps back. The aura emanating from this young man was too terrifying. He wasn’t sure if it was his imagination, but he felt a genuine sense of fear.

Wang Yue reached Yang Yan, and their heights were similar.

Yang Yan’s eyes were filled with excitement, while Wang Yue’s were as cold as an eternal ice.
