Chapter 616 Little Sweet Cat

The fragment lodged in Miller's femur was indeed difficult for doctors to remove; mishandling it could permanently cripple his leg.

But!

This was a simple matter for Cheng Xiaofan.

Entering the bedroom, Cheng Xiaofan asked Miller to lie on his side on the bed.

As Miller was about to unfasten his trousers, Cheng Xiaofan immediately said, "No need to undress. I can remove the fragment for you even through your clothes."

"Ah, that's possible?" Miller could hardly believe his ears.

Cheng Xiaofan smiled slightly and said, "Others might not be able to, but I can!"

Miller said, "Mr. Cheng, you are truly amazing!"

Cheng Xiaofan chuckled, "Lie still and don't make a sound. Wait until I've removed the fragment before you praise me."

He then activated his Dragon Eyes, extended his right hand, and channeled a stream of dragon qi into Miller's femur. Unbeknownst to Miller, the dragon qi pulverized the fragment into powder.

At that moment, Cheng Xiaofan casually picked up an ashtray from nearby and, using telekinesis, drew the powder from the femur into the ashtray.

"Alright, Mr. Miller, you can get up now!" Cheng Xiaofan said with a smile.

Upon hearing this, Miller immediately got off the bed, feeling a sense of lightness and a surge of energy.

Cheng Xiaofan asked, "Mr. Miller, how do you feel now?"

Miller exclaimed emotionally, "I feel like a completely new person, so comfortable! The unbearable burden I've carried for seven years is finally gone!"

"By the way, Mr. Cheng, where is the fragment you removed?"

Cheng Xiaofan brought the ashtray over to him and said, "Look, it's right here."

Miller stared at the black powder in the ashtray, a look of confusion on his face. "Ah, this is the fragment?"

Cheng Xiaofan smiled, "That's right. However, the fragment lodged in your femur was a whole piece. When I removed it, I first used my internal energy to crush it into pieces before extracting it."

"The biggest advantage of doing it this way is that it doesn't damage the meridians!"

Miller couldn't help but marvel, "Mr. Cheng, you are truly an extraordinary divine doctor. To remove these fragments without any instruments, it's truly miraculous!"

Cheng Xiaofan chuckled, "This is an ancient divine art technique from Huaxia. To ordinary people, it is indeed inconceivable!"

Back in the living room, Miller immediately informed his daughter, Melissa, about Cheng Xiaofan's successful removal of the fragment.

Melissa laughed, "Dad, you finally understand Mr. Cheng's incredible abilities, don't you?"

Miller nodded repeatedly, his face beaming, "Yes, Melissa. I should say, Mr. Cheng is a lucky star for our family!"

Just then, a Black maid approached Miller and said, "Sir, it's time for lunch!"

Miller nodded, his smile widening, "Mr. Cheng, shall we eat?"

Cheng Xiaofan smiled, "Okay, I'll be imposing on you!"

Miller burst into laughter, "Mr. Cheng, you Chinese people are too polite. 'Imposing'? I'm truly thrilled that you could come to my home this time!"

Upon entering the dining room, Cheng Xiaofan discovered that the table was laden with Huaxia cuisine.

Melissa then said to Cheng Xiaofan, "My dad absolutely loves Huaxia food. He specifically hired a Huaxia chef from Chinatown."

Cheng Xiaofan smiled, "These dishes are quite well-made, with excellent color, aroma, and taste!"

Melissa smiled charmingly, "When it comes to culinary skills, I doubt anyone in the world can compare to you!"

Miller, hearing this, asked curiously, "What? Mr. Cheng also knows culinary skills?"

Melissa laughed, "Dad, you haven't tasted Mr. Cheng's cooking. Once you have, you'll know what true deliciousness is!"

Miller smiled, "If there's an opportunity, I'll visit your hometown, Mr. Cheng, to sample your exquisite dishes!"

"My daughter brought the Happy Wine and Drunken Chicken you gave her back when she returned home. They were absolutely delicious!"

Miller took out a bottle of wine, which turned out to be Qian Ri Zui, produced by Tu Biao.

They drank and chatted idly.

Cheng Xiaofan asked Melissa, "Can you introduce me to your friend this afternoon?"

Melissa replied, "Of course, I'll take you this afternoon!"

She added, "Don't you want to ask what illness she has?"

Cheng Xiaofan shook his head and smiled, "No need to ask. As soon as I see your friend, I'll be able to tell what illness she has with just a glance."

Melissa smiled, "You're right. There's no need for me to introduce her."

After the meal, Cheng Xiaofan rested briefly before getting into Melissa's car to depart.

Melissa's friend lived in the Northwest district of Washington, on U Street, quite a distance from the District of Columbia.

Along the way, Melissa told Cheng Xiaofan, "It will be late when we arrive at my friend's place, so we'll be staying overnight there tonight."

"My friend is an actress and lives alone in a very nice villa. We won't have to worry about accommodation."

"I've already informed her in advance that you like Huaxia cuisine, so she specially hired a Huaxia chef this morning."

After a moment's thought, she added, "Mr. Cheng, there's one thing I must apologize for. When introducing you to my friend, I told her that you are my close boyfriend whom I met in Huaxia!"

"When we get there, I implore you to cooperate with me and satisfy my vanity!"

Cheng Xiaofan listened, looking at Melissa with a bewildered expression, and asked, "What is a close boyfriend?"

Melissa stammered, "It means a boyfriend with whom you are intimately close. To put it more specifically, it means we are so close that we are inseparable, and our relationship is extremely intimate!"

"..." Cheng Xiaofan was utterly speechless.

He didn't need her to explain further; he understood what kind of relationship it was.

He already had a Jingzi on Fosman Island, and now in the capital of the United States, he was going to have a Melissa?

If this were to spread back home, how would Bai Goddess and Shen Ruobing see him?

Perhaps Bai Goddess wouldn't care, but what about the people in the martial world?

Never mind!

Melissa was just speaking her mind, driven by her vanity.

He shouldn't overthink it.

"Mr. Cheng, are you unhappy?" Melissa asked timidly when she noticed Cheng Xiaofan had been silent for a long time.

In the United States, Melissa was a very assertive woman.

Even she didn't understand why, upon seeing Cheng Xiaofan, she immediately became as docile as a well-behaved kitten.

Cheng Xiaofan immediately smiled slightly, "Melissa, you misunderstand. How could I be unhappy when I'm with you?"

Melissa tentatively asked, "So, you agree to my little vanity?"

Cheng Xiaofan laughed, "Don't worry, I'll cooperate with you as much as I can in whatever you do!"

Upon hearing this, Melissa exclaimed excitedly, "Mr. Cheng, you're too kind! How about this, to avoid my friend thinking we're acting, can we use different terms of endearment?"

Cheng Xiaofan found Melissa somewhat amusing, acting so childishly. It reminded him of playing house games in his village when he was little.

He asked, "What terms of endearment?"

Melissa's face flushed slightly, "Well, Mr. Cheng, I'll call you 'darling,' and you can call me 'little sweet cat'!"

"Call you 'little sweet cat'?" For a moment, Cheng Xiaofan's mind couldn't quite grasp it.

Melissa nodded, "Yes, calling me that indicates how obedient I am in front of you."

"And it also implies how much you dote on me!"
