"Then I have a word for boss Han as well!"
"We're all ears!"
Han Shifei chuckled, though his smile carried an undeniable air of contempt and disdain.
"In my life in Qin Chuan, although I don't seek trouble, I've never been afraid of it!"
Han Shifei burst into laughter, a loud, booming sound.
"Good! Very good!"
"It's been a while since I've encountered something this interesting. I hope you won't disappoint me!"
With that, Han Shifei turned and strode away.
Following behind him, his sycophantic followers all wore menacing smiles. Some even made throat-slitting gestures towards Qin Chuan and those standing behind him.
After the group left, a torrent of curses erupted from the colored steel house. Qin Er Ge and Bai Xiaoguang, known for their short tempers, were furious, and everyone else looked grim.

Before his musings had even faded, large raindrops began to pound down, making a deafening clatter against the colored steel house.
"Quick, tell the workers to stop working and take shelter from the rain!"
Qin Chuan shouted.
Soon, the entire construction site buzzed with activity. The workers, who had been toiling away, began packing up their tools. In less than fifteen minutes, a torrential downpour was raging outside.
The sky seemed to split open, casting the entire world in a hazy gray, with only the pouring rain remaining.
"Damn you, heavens! After only four or five days of sunshine, you're pissing again!"
Those huddled inside the colored steel house cursed.
"It's a downpour. It'll be over as quickly as it started!"
"No need to worry!"
Someone with more experience offered comfort.
This casual remark, however, made Qin Chuan's mind drift back to the matter of floods. Calculating the time, the second wave of heavy rainfall seemed imminent, possibly within these very days.
He wondered if anyone had noticed the ten letters he had sent out…
