Zhan Mohan had not been home for several days due to work matters. Although Wei Yumeng now understood his reasons, she couldn't help but worry. She decided to go directly to his company to find him.
However, as soon as she stepped out, she was surrounded by a swarm of reporters.
"Mrs. Zhan, are those news reports true?"
"We heard Mr. Zhan had an affair with Catherine and that you two have been at odds. What are your thoughts on this?"
Wei Yumeng felt a headache coming on and quickly retreated back inside. If this continued, her daily life would be severely affected.
Lately, to prevent this matter from impacting the Feng Group, she had to apply to work from home. But this wasn't a long-term solution.
Unable to leave the house, Wei Yumeng had to temporarily abandon her plan to go out.
Meanwhile, Mu Linjing had already arrived at Zhan Mohan's office.
"Zhan Mohan! What's going on? Did you really get involved with that Catherine? Are you out of your mind? How can you not want a woman as good as Yumeng and instead be with someone like that? And besides..."

"Where are those reporters?" Wei Yumeng asked, still a bit worried.
Mu Linjing replied with a proud expression, "Of course, I sent them away. You can't possibly let them camp out here forever. This is completely affecting your life, and you can even call the police."

Catherine's face darkened as she looked at Mu Linjing. "Don't go too far. This is Feng Group, and I am Feng Zhenhua's..."
"Daughter." As Catherine was about to finish her sentence, Mu Linjing interrupted, "If I had such a daughter, I'd probably be hospitalized from anger."
"Who do you think you are? My affairs don't require your attention."
Mu Linjing reached out and slapped Catherine. "What? Didn't your family teach you to speak politely? You ask who I am, but who are you yourself?"

Immediately, the entire storage room was filled with the sounds of their argument.
People passing by in the hallway heard the noise, but no one bothered to go in and mediate. They simply walked past indifferently and left.
Wei Yumeng only realized Mu Linjing was gone after she finished explaining everything. However, thinking of Catherine, she had a bad premonition.
