Chapter 457 Not Afraid

The Human Race's Heavenly Court had long made plans; they were merely sent out to probe.

To gather some intelligence on the three Primordial beings.

Of course, even though they perished, they would not truly die.

After all, ever since the advent of the Soul Core, the Human Race had become an immortal civilization.

There might be powerful beings capable of breaching the Soul Core, but these few Primordial beings were far from worthy.

Therefore, no one in the Human Race's Heavenly Court feared death.

A thousand Immortal King-level humans had already fallen.

And "Tai," after annihilating so many humans, spoke.

"You have all seen that your so-called strength is of no use against me."

"From this day forth, I am the master of the Chaos. As long as I wish..."

"Tai" revealed a cruel smile and flicked his finger, sending a surge of Primordial energy towards a nearby Immortal King-level human.

That Immortal King-level human screamed as their primordial spirit was contaminated by the Primordial energy and they perished.

"...I can do this."

After demonstrating, "Tai" laughed heartily:

"Humble beings of Chaos, I am the master of this Chaos, the lord of this domain, a great Primordial being. Will you not immediately surrender?"

This statement was made deliberately by "Tai."

The Primordial beings searched through the void for various Chaos realms simply to vent their emotions.

"Tai" had this very intention.

Although upon entering this Chaos, the hundred thousand Great Dao Saints had surprised even him.

But once he understood they posed no threat to him.

"Tai" immediately refocused on his original objective after entering Chaos: to return to the source and do what he initially intended.

He wanted to vent his emotions, so he did.

For a Primordial being like "Tai," ruling such a Chaos, being its lord or master, yielded no actual benefit.

More than any tangible gain, what he most desired to see now was the panic on these humans' faces.

Panic and fear were what brought "Tai" the greatest spiritual enjoyment.

Rather than saying he came for profit, it was more accurate to say he came for amusement.

After making his domineering declaration, "Tai" used his own immense power as a Primordial being to oppress the humans.

Excited voices.

Vast aura.

Arrogant pronouncements.

"Tai" eagerly anticipated seeing fear, anger, or confusion on the faces of the humans.

But to his regret, and even to his annoyance,

the humans before him showed little change in their expressions, as if unaffected by him.

Not only was there no fear, but they even displayed curiosity towards him.

"How is this possible!"

This thought simultaneously flashed through the minds of the three Primordial beings.

In the face of a far more powerful being, with thousands killed instantly, and the remaining ones seemingly facing imminent death, with their very lives at stake.

How could there be no emotional fluctuations?

How could they not feel fear?

This was illogical.

Unless they were constantly in a state of high risk.

Or, they possessed a means of resurrection.

But that was clearly impossible.

Under the erosion of Primordial energy, who could resurrect?

Perhaps only the legendary Primordial Supreme in the ancient Primordial realm could achieve such a feat.

But the realm of Primordial Supreme was already ethereal and uncertain even within the Primordial world; this Chaos certainly harbored no such powerful beings.

Then, what was the reason for their subdued expressions, and even their curious gazes?

"Tai," "Shang," and "Hong," the three Primordial beings, found their own moods darkening.

They had come to vent their emotions.

But now, sensing that their opponents were not playing by the rules,

they were the ones who felt a creeping anger.

"Deploy the Quasi-Immortal Emperors."

An order was transmitted to the ears of the many Immortal King-level humans.

The numerous Immortal King-level humans immediately accepted the command.

Why were the Immortal King-level humans unafraid?

This fact, which puzzled the three Primordial beings, was actually quite simple.

First: All the humans in the Human Race's Heavenly Court were well-traveled and experienced. They had encountered numerous ancient sages and powerful beings.

These Primordial beings, though strong, were perhaps not stronger than Hunyuan Great Dao Golden Immortals. At most, they were comparable to Hunyuan Great Dao Golden Immortal experts or ancient sages of the level of the blue-clothed maiden.

Having frequently battled Quasi-Immortal Emperor-level ancient sages, and even witnessed the true power of an Immortal Emperor-level ancient sage like Sun Lü, the many humans were not afraid of a mere three Primordial beings.

They clearly understood that these three Primordial beings were merely subordinates of ancient sages, not their true bodies. They were simply beings from the "Primordial" upper realm, which existed above the countless Chaos realms that had emerged after the expansion of this world view.

They were no different from previous enemies.

Second: Even simpler, humans who had entrusted their true spirits to their Soul Cores were immortal, as long as they did not encounter beings above the tenth layer of the box.

"Primordial beings? I wonder how this Primordial energy can be analyzed?"

"These Primordial beings actually claim to be the masters of Chaos? Heh, do they know how many beings seeking to dominate Chaos the Human Race's Heavenly Court has driven away?"

"Claiming to be masters of Chaos and calling us humans lowly beings."

"They are simply courting death."

"Overestimating themselves."

The humans passed their judgment, evaluating the three Primordial beings.

And "Tai," a Primordial being, was truly enraged upon hearing these words.

And rightfully so.

They had come to find amusement, not to be the subject of amusement.

These beings of Chaos were too bold!

They dared to mock them!

Just as "Tai" was about to unleash his fury.

Seven auras surged from the depths of the infinite universe towards the boundless starry river.

Like the five decays of heaven and man, a doomsday aura enveloped countless worlds and infinite dimensions.

Innumerable universes instantly turned blood-red. That terrifying aura, superior to all universes, could easily cause countless universes to collapse.

Seven Human Quasi-Immortal Emperors had arrived.

Whether it was "Tai," "Shang," "Hong," or the other Primordial beings, they were greatly astonished.

Although they did not know what a Quasi-Immortal Emperor was.

But in their perception, these seven beings who unleashed their auras were countless times stronger than the thousand Chaos beings they had just annihilated.

They clearly recognized the power of these radiating beings.

"Such powerful beings of Chaos?"

"The energy within them is countless times greater than ours."

"But they do not possess Primordial energy..."

"Can beings within Chaos be this powerful? A further advancement beyond the Great Dao Saint level?"

"They have discovered a Chaos energy that goes further than the Great Dao Saint level while remaining within Chaos... Why don't they convert it to Primordial energy? Isn't that simpler?"
