Chapter 353 The Tower of Infinity

"You won't get any information about him from me. I will never help you despicable humans."

Hearing this, Yao merely twirled the greatsword in his hand and then let out a cold laugh.

"In that case, don't blame me for being ruthless. You will speak today, whether you want to or not."

"Even if you don't speak now, I will beat you into submission."

...

Meanwhile, on the other side, Jiang Fan had just woken up from his sleep.

"Damn it, where is this?"

Jiang Fan remembered clearly that he had just fought that merman on the reef.

Although that monster was no match for him, and he had successfully defeated it,

before he could deliver the killing blow, he was overturned by a huge wave.

His head hit the reef, causing Jiang Fan to fall into a coma. Fortunately, it wasn't a fatal injury, just enough to knock him out for a while.

Now that he had woken up here again, Jiang Fan didn't know where he had ended up.

"Could it be that those monsters brought me here?"

This morning, Jiang Fan had just wanted to get up and catch some food to prepare a hearty breakfast for everyone. Unexpectedly, he spotted a beam of golden light shining in the distance.

He had intended to go and see what it was, and was just about to untie the ropes binding him when, suddenly, the ropes were severed by something unknown.

As the ropes snapped, Jiang Fan realized he was in danger. He dared not wake his companions beside him, for fear that they might be implicated because of him.

Now, he had been dragged into the water while fighting those monsters, and subsequently arrived at that group of reefs.

That group of reefs clearly contained more than one monster, and Jiang Fan fought with them.

After finally defeating them, he had unexpectedly ended up in this place.

"Never mind, it doesn't matter. The most important thing now is to find the exit. I absolutely cannot stay here any longer. My companions are all waiting for me inside."

Jiang Fan firmly believed that his companions would be waiting for him at the original spot, or perhaps searching for him.

Therefore, he had to find the exit quickly and escape from here.

However, the surroundings were all the same. Apart from the staircase in front of him, there seemed to be no other way out.

An endless staircase bore some resemblance to the exit of the previous level.

Without hesitation, Jiang Fan started climbing upwards, as he could find no other way to escape from here.

When Jiang Fan reached the stairs, he discovered that they were shifting. Every inch led to one end of the cylindrical dungeon.

Jiang Fan stood cautiously in place, observing the turns of the stairs. He found that each staircase corresponded to an exit. Then, from the top of the staircase, he had to enter a large door in the cylindrical dungeon, and then from within the door, enter the next staircase.

Only by doing this repeatedly could he successfully reach the top and escape this place.

However, Jiang Fan knew that the nature of this place was definitely not that simple. It was by no means designed to let Jiang Fan easily walk out of this cylindrical dungeon.

With no other better options available, Jiang Fan could only accept reality and walk up the staircase before him, entering the first door.

After entering the door, the surroundings were pitch black, with only a few dim green lights flickering. These green lights resembled the eyes of some monster, and Jiang Fan tightened his grip on his fire axe.

The fire axe in his hand swung constantly, and Jiang Fan's spiritual power was highly concentrated. Looking at the flashing green lights around him, Jiang Fan knew they were definitely not small lanterns, but the eyeballs of monsters.

Because it was too dark, Jiang Fan had to focus his gaze intently.

With just one slip-up, he could be killed by whatever these things were at any moment.

As expected, as Jiang Fan slowly walked forward, a pair of green lights suddenly flashed towards him at high speed.

Jiang Fan instinctively raised his fire axe and brought it down with all his might.

Green light, accompanied by red blood, directly illuminated the ceiling of the dungeon.

Following this, as the green light dimmed, other green lights rushed towards him.

In desperation, Jiang Fan had to take out his illumination device and throw it forward. He discovered that the path ahead was filled with ferocious, baring-mouthed wolves.

But he absolutely could not retreat now. If he retreated, he would enter an endless loop and never reach the next floor. Therefore, he could only choose to pick up his fire axe and fight.

Fortunately, these wolves were not monsters, but a group of ordinary wild beasts, allowing Jiang Fan to easily slay them all.

"Damn it, although they are not powerful, there are so many of them. If it continues like this, the higher I go, the faster my stamina will be depleted. Eventually, I will die by their jaws on one of the floors."

Although Jiang Fan could easily defeat them, looking at the pack of wolves, he was somewhat worried because there were too many of them.

This was only the first floor. If the number of wolves increased as he went higher, it would be even more impossible for Jiang Fan to escape.

After a brief rest, Jiang Fan quickly moved upwards, because he knew that resting here required sufficient food to be considered rest; otherwise, it was just depleting his scarce energy.

His energy had been excessively consumed during the fight with the previous monsters, and now with the fight against these wolves, his stamina was being depleted at an extremely rapid rate.

"Never mind, I'll go all out. I can't let my companions think I died somewhere."

"No matter what, I must get out of here."

Jiang Fan twirled his fire axe and then walked up the second staircase, reaching the second level of the tower.

This level was not very similar to the first one, and the light here seemed brighter. Jiang Fan could also observe his surroundings with his eyes.

It seemed that this level was not as dangerous as the previous one.

Jiang Fan looked around and felt that there was nothing aggressive on this level. Instead, the door in front of him was rather interesting.

A row of movable stone slabs were all inscribed with characters. Although Jiang Fan could not understand these characters, he knew that by forming them into a special pattern, he could get out of here.
