Chapter 461 The Dead End

The stone door appeared immensely large, yet it offered no hint of an exit, leaving Jiang Fan utterly bewildered.

"What are we going to do? Is this going to trap us all here?"

Jiang Fan watched as Dai Xiao Mei worked for a long time with no effect, feeling a profound sense of helplessness.

"I don't know. The best we can hope for now is to quickly find an exit and leave this place. Otherwise, this is truly unbearable. The air here is extremely thin, as we've been in this place for far too long. And with so many giant creatures around, what can we do now?"

Yao heard this and shook his head. He, too, realized the gravity of their situation.

It wasn't just them, mere mortals. Even the dinosaur beside them felt a bit dizzy, clearly not from poisoning, but simply because the oxygen was too thin, making breathing difficult.

"Damn it, what should we do? This puts everyone present in an extremely awkward position!"

As Jiang Fan spoke, he slowly drifted off to sleep. Dai Xiao Mei was also extremely tired, but she knew she absolutely couldn't lie down easily. If they did, everyone might die here with her.

"Don't worry, I can definitely handle this. I refuse to believe I can't solve this."

Dai Xiao Mei's eyes were fighting to stay open, and she kept pushing herself. Yet, she was nearing her limit.

Finally, everyone agreed to rest. Seeing Dai Xiao Mei also collapse, Zhou Nian Nian quickly moved to their side, trying to rouse them.

"Damn it, if this continues, won't everyone here pass out?"

After holding on for a while longer, Zhou Nian Nian also fainted along with Gun Gun.

After an unknown amount of time, Jiang Fan suddenly heard a sound near his ear. He slowly opened his eyes and found that all his companions were gone, causing him great anxiety. He quickly stood up, but nothing around him felt familiar.

"What the hell is going on? Where is this place? Weren't we just in a cave? Did we get taken somewhere else strange? Where's Zhou Nian Nian? Yao, Dai Xiao Mei, and Gun Gun? Where did they go?"

Jiang Fan looked around but still couldn't find his companions, becoming increasingly anxious. If he were to survive alone, he wouldn't last long. All he wanted now was to find his teammates.

Looking at the colorful, lush green lawn stretching as far as the eye could see, like a vast grassland, Jiang Fan found it incredible.

"This won't do. I have to find them. What if they're gone? It's all my fault. If I hadn't been so careless, everyone wouldn't have fainted."

Jiang Fan searched frantically around the area for Yao and the others, but without success. Although it was just a lawn, it was so vast he couldn't find a trace of his teammates, which was incredibly disheartening for Jiang Fan.

Jiang Fan was also filled with despair. Unable to find his teammates, he finally sat down powerlessly.

"Jiang Fan, what are you doing? How did you get so far away? We've been waiting for you for a long time."

Hearing this, Jiang Fan quickly turned his head and saw that his teammates had already gathered. He found it unbelievable that he had been searching for them while they were all here.

"What's going on? Why are you all here? I thought you all ran off. I didn't expect all of you to be in this place."

Yao seemed to have recovered and approached Jiang Fan, saying,

"Of course. We reunited long ago and were just waiting for you. We didn't know where you'd wandered off to. Now that we've found you, we're much more at ease."

Hearing this, Jiang Fan let out a sigh of relief. He really didn't want his good companions to just disappear. If that had happened, he would have been utterly devastated.

"It's a good thing everyone is alright. You scared me to death. I thought you'd encountered some danger. Since you're all fine, I'm relieved."

After saying this, Yao quickly led Jiang Fan away.

Jiang Fan suddenly remembered something and turned to ask them,

"Wait, where's our dinosaur? Didn't it faint with us? Why isn't it here?"

Hearing this, Zhou Nian Nian's expression seemed a bit awkward, and even Dai Xiao Mei didn't know how to respond. Seeing this, Jiang Fan found it hard to believe. They weren't acting like themselves.

"What dinosaur? We forgot. How long has it been? We've already forgotten about that. Let's hurry back, or it might get dangerous."

After saying this, Jiang Fan immediately stopped in his tracks. He felt something was off. These people didn't seem like his teammates. He remembered his teammates very clearly, but now they claimed to have forgotten about the dinosaur.

"No, there's something wrong with you. What exactly is going on? Tell me the truth."

"I'm not going to waste my time here with you. Who are you? Are you my teammates?"

After saying this, his companions quickly laughed and replied,

"Jiang Fan, did you sleep too long and forget things? You know how long it's been since we last saw that so-called dinosaur. We've mostly forgotten about it. Let's go back and rest."

"You look tired too, otherwise I wouldn't insist that you go back and rest."

The woman in front of him was so eager to have Jiang Fan leave with her that it made Jiang Fan even more suspicious. He felt these people were strange, and staying with them might lead to danger. Jiang Fan smiled faintly and shook his head.
