Chapter 33 Danger! Must Leave This New Continent!

In the camp, Captain Jin Wen was questioning the curly-haired men returning from the Giant King's Forest.

Nine passengers had died, and each of them held an important status that he could not afford to offend. This gave him a headache, knowing that even if they were rescued this time, his fate would not be good.

"We have to leave this continent immediately, we can't stay here, it's too dangerous!" Jack said, still trembling, his face filled with fear. The image of the Iron-Winged Tiger gnawing on human brains lingered in his mind, leaving him with a profound shadow.

The curly-haired man was the same. His eyes were red, and he gritted his teeth, saying, "This continent is an inauspicious place. Staying here is certain death, we must leave!"

The other two adventure team members who had escaped with them nodded frantically, fearfully stating they had to leave the continent. Even if they were adrift at sea in a lifeboat, they would not want to stay on land. They feared that the monsters that liked to gnaw on heads would pounce from the forest.

Seeing the few people so terrified, the other passengers were also infected by the atmosphere, their hearts filled with tension and fear.

"Jack, what exactly did you experience in the forest? Why did so many people die? And what are these monsters you speak of?" someone couldn't help but ask for details. They only knew that Jack and his group had formed an adventure team to explore the forest, and they had returned as escapees, shouting about monsters. Out of fifteen team members, only six survived, the rest buried within.

"They were a pack of tigers, incredibly strange-looking tigers with steel-like wings, impervious to blades and bullets, and they liked to gnaw on human brains..." a female survivor said with tears, her best friend having died under the jaws of these fierce tigers. She could only watch helplessly, her heart filled with despair and terror.

"What!? Tigers with wings, and impervious to blades and bullets? How is that possible!?" Everyone was shocked by this statement, their first reaction being disbelief. How could tigers grow wings, and their hides weren't thick enough to withstand bullets?

Jack gritted his teeth, confirming that what the female survivor said was true. "What she said is true, those tigers are truly impervious to blades and bullets, and they are incredibly fast, far stronger than ordinary tigers."

"I suspect these tigers, like the octopus we encountered at sea, are all monsters!" After hearing Jack's words, everyone felt their worldview shattered. The octopus monster encountered at sea could be explained by the legendary Kraken, but what was this winged tiger? This new continent was too bizarre, too mysterious, making everyone's hearts tremble even more.

Captain Jin Wen's expression was extremely grim. He had thought the adventure team had merely encountered ordinary wild beasts, leading to their misfortune. He never expected them to encounter monsters; it was too absurd. What kind of place was this? Why were there so many mysterious and powerful species?

The captain waved his hand, "Bring out the rocket launchers from the armory and give them to the international bodyguards. Have them stay extremely vigilant and watch the forest!"

"If those monsters come out, bombard them fiercely with rocket launchers! I don't believe what bullets can't penetrate, rockets can't either!?" The sailor acknowledged the order and rushed towards the camp's only remaining armory. There were still a few boxes of rocket launchers here, meant to defend against pirates. But now, instead of pirates, they had encountered monsters.

Jack and the others continued to urge the captain to leave the continent and drift at sea. But Captain Jin Wen flatly refused. He frowned, "Gentlemen, the sea will only be more dangerous now. Have you forgotten how the Nix sank?"

"The camp is already a relatively safe area. The best course of action now is to quietly await external rescue. Once the warships arrive, everything will be safe!"

Upon hearing this, the group felt despair. But they dared not go to sea themselves, because compared to the fierce tigers that gnawed on human brains, the octopus sea beast that sank the cruise ship was even more terrifying!

The news of the adventure team losing nine members made everyone in the camp restless. They feared that the fierce tigers from the forest would pounce out at any moment and gnaw off all their heads one by one.

Lin Zihao's face turned pale upon hearing about the tigers gnawing on human brains, and he trembled, "Grandpa, are all tigers this ferocious? Why are they different from the ones I see at the zoo?" He remembered when his parents took him to the zoo, the tigers there were very docile. He could even sit on a tiger's back without fear of being attacked.

Lin Wencheng looked at his grandson and said, "Zihao, wild beasts in the wild are different from animals in zoos."

"Animals in zoos have been domesticated, retaining only a small amount of their wildness. But it's different in the wild. Nature is a jungle where the strong prey on the weak. If you're not a bit fiercer than others, how can you survive in the cruel natural world?"

"Moreover, the tigers on this new continent might not be the same species as tigers from the outside world." His heart was heavy. The dangers this new continent presented might be far greater than this. If the rescue team couldn't find them soon, they might be in trouble.

Lin Xue, standing beside them, was also extremely worried. She had just comforted Alice, helping her relax and fall asleep. But what Alice had said made her very scared.

Suddenly, she saw two white lights in the distance, heading towards the camp. Her expression was astonished, thinking she was mistaken. She quickly rubbed her eyes and confirmed she wasn't seeing things; there were indeed two white lights approaching the camp!

Lin Xue couldn't help but exclaim, "What... what is that? Something is flying towards our camp, is it a flying bird!?"

This exclamation immediately drew the attention of those around. Everyone looked up and saw the two white lights rapidly approaching.

"Holy crap! Is that a meteor or something?"

"The trajectory doesn't look like a meteorite, could it be some kind of bird flying in the air?"

"Could it be dangerous?" Everyone exclaimed, their hearts suddenly tensing up! Everything on this continent was too mysterious, making them unable to help but be nervous.

Lin Wencheng also looked up. His cloudy, presbyopic eyes clearly saw the two white lights. As the two white lights drew closer, he seemed to see human figures within the white light? This made him incredibly astonished, thinking he was hallucinating. How could there be human figures in white light? How could humans fly in the sky?

But when the white lights reached the sky above the camp, Lin Wencheng, along with everyone else in the camp, opened their mouths wide, their expressions filled with shock!
