Chapter 87 Shen Qi, Help

"Why are you two still standing here? Aren't you afraid of dying? Hurry up and leave," the two returning police officers said, frowning sternly and urging them away.

Suddenly, a somewhat familiar figure walked past the two police officers. Lu Zhi instinctively called out, "Captain Wang Bin?"

Wang Bin was the captain who led Lu Zhi the first time he entered the Cage, but they had been teleported and separated after entering.

Wang Bin had a cigarette in the corner of his mouth, his expression somewhat dejected. Upon hearing Lu Zhi's voice, he stared at him for a moment before saying, "Hmm? You're a student from the Institute of Paranormal Management."

Lu Zhi nodded and smiled, "I didn't expect Captain Wang to still remember me."

Wang Bin let out a chuckle and extended his hand with a smile, "Liu Chuang is my cousin. Yang Yueying, that little girl, has already told me about you saving him. Thank you."

Lu Zhi clasped his hand in surprise, "It's nothing. No need for thanks."

The two junior police officers behind Wang Bin stared at Lu Zhi in surprise. One of them whispered, "He looks barely an adult? And he can already enter and exit the Cage alone?"

The police officers, who were protecting the country, could not conceal the impending invasion of the bizarre. Before the bizarre invasion fully erupted, it would not be announced to ordinary people to avoid nationwide panic.

"And this is..." Wang Bin glanced at Shen Qi, who was expressionless yet exuded a strong presence.

Lu Zhi casually introduced, "Oh, this is my boyfriend, my surname is Shen."

Upon hearing this, Shen Qi's lips curved into a seemingly pleased smile, "Hello."

After a brief introduction, Lu Zhi casually inquired about the castle, which was similar to what the gossipy uncle he overheard had said, but Wang Bin provided more details.

"Do you two want to go take a look together?" Wang Bin stubbed out his cigarette and threw it into the trash can. "Perhaps you also want to explore it with me?"

Lu Zhi neither agreed nor refused immediately. He walked towards the castle with Wang Bin. Along the way, he noticed that the area within a hundred meters of the castle was cordoned off with horizontal barriers, and many guards were standing alert.

The castle was surrounded by a three-meter-high wall, with only one entrance. The members of those guilds were standing at the entrance. They frowned upon seeing Lu Zhi and Shen Qi, whispering amongst themselves.

"Is this the door you mentioned?" Lu Zhi finally saw the door Wang Bin had spoken of. It appeared abruptly at the entrance of the castle's main gate, like a black vortex. Black particles emanated from within, gradually forming a thin membrane barrier similar to the Cage.

"You can see it too?" Wang Bin ran a hand through his hair and said helplessly, "Only a few people can see this 'door'. In the eyes of ordinary people, it's just a door leading into the castle."

Lu Zhi was surprised by this answer. Wang Bin clearly couldn't see it. He simply described the size and location of the door to Wang Bin: "It's like an entrance to an unknown space. I wonder if the things inside will come out. Where were your bodies found?"

Wang Bin gestured for the guards to open the gate of the enclosure and replied, "They were thrown just outside the entrance you mentioned. Initially, the scenic spot manager dared not speak, but they reported it to the police upon seeing the bodies. Currently, the number of missing people is nearly fifty."

Lu Zhi nodded in understanding. The closer they got to the castle gate, the more uncomfortable the floating black particles in the air made them feel. The closer they got to the vortex entrance, the more intense the sense of danger became.

At this moment, a man holding a staff, presumably the leader of these guild members, said arrogantly, "Captain Wang, the entrance should be right here."

Wang Bin asked expressionlessly, "What does the entrance look like?"

The leader frowned, "Entrance? What entrance? We have a medium in our team who can sense the place with the deepest resentment of the deceased, and it's here."

Upon hearing this, Wang Bin glanced at Lu Zhi unobtrusively. The difference was immediately apparent.

Lu Zhi thought that these guild members should be able to see, and he quietly asked Shen Qi, "You can see it, right?"

Shen Qi replied with a bored attitude, "Yes, I can. It's a black iron door."

Lu Zhi was surprised, as this was different from what he saw. So, Shen Qi's vision was the true appearance of the castle? He was very curious if the castle still looked the same to Shen Qi as it did to him now.

"Want to go in and play?" Shen Qi tilted his head to look at him and suddenly showed a playful smile, "Inside, there should be the 'vampire' you want to see."

Lu Zhi: ... I originally wanted to go in, but with that smile, I'm a bit hesitant.

"Is it... very dangerous inside?" Lu Zhi glanced at the guild members who were discussing with Wang Bin and preparing to enter the door, and then whispered, "Can they handle it?"

Shen Qi stated directly, "They will die."

Lu Zhi doubted, "Aren't you trying to scare me?"

Shen Qi sighed and raised his hands to his ears in a gesture of surrender, "Darling, I'm 'a sinner' right now. How could I lie to you?"

Lu Zhi thought to himself, that's not necessarily true.

"Are you two going in?" Wang Bin had finished discussing with the guild members and asked for Lu Zhi's opinion. "So far, no one has come out of here alive. The danger level is unknown. Although we tried sending robots in, this 'door' seems to reject 'non-living' bodies."

Lu Zhi considered himself not a great philanthropist and would act within his capabilities, not foolishly pursuing heroic dreams.

With Shen Qi by his side, his life was certainly safe. He just didn't know if the people inside were still alive. If possible, he would definitely lend a hand to save them.

Lu Zhi: "We're going in."

Wang Bin's tense expression relaxed slightly. Before he could say more, the guild members behind him impatiently urged them on. Two of them had already entered the 'door.' Wang Bin's expression was not very good, but since the people were brought in by their side, he said no more. He nodded at Lu Zhi and entered the 'door,' his figure disappearing like ripples in water.

Lu Zhi and Shen Qi were the last to enter. After they went in, the entrance instantly closed.

As soon as he entered the door, Lu Zhi felt a wave of dizziness. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself lying on a luxurious bed nearly three meters wide. The pink and black lace canopy indicated it was a princess bed. The furniture and decorations in the room clearly told Lu Zhi that it was a girl's bedroom.

Just as Lu Zhi was about to get up, the jingling sound of chains bewildered him. He turned his head and saw that both his hands and legs were chained to the bed.

As Lu Zhi was searching for the key, footsteps echoed from the corridor outside the bedroom. The bedroom door was suddenly pushed open from the outside, and a girl's arrogant voice impatiently sounded, "So annoying! How many times have I told you not to suck blood directly with your teeth? Human blood nowadays tastes terrible... Huh?"

Lu Zhi's eyes first fell upon the girl wearing a pink and black princess dress, with two small horns on her forehead, dark purple lips revealing a small fangs, and small bat wings on her back. Isn't this a vampire?

Lu Zhi's face stiffened, and his eyes met the girl's non-human crimson vertical pupils. In his heart, he cried out: Shen Qi, help!
