Chapter 89: Elosia

**Chapter 89: Elosia**

All apprentices, including the previously arrogant or scrutinizing prodigies, composed themselves and listened attentively.

“Apprentices!” the magistrate’s voice rang out passionately, echoing under the vast dome. “You gather here not only for yourselves but for the grand expansion of the wizard civilization. To thoroughly test your strength and wisdom, you will step into a new plane!”

The apprentices weren’t overly surprised by this format. For wizards, no test compared to the real combat of a plane war.

“This isn’t the child’s play you experienced at your academies! This is a true plane invasion war!” the magistrate’s voice rose sharply.

“This plane has unique rules, a powerful native civilization, and gods formed by their faith!”

As he spoke, a massive translucent map of the plane unfurled in the plaza’s center, revealing the grand contours of the Elosia plane.

“This plane is called ‘Elosia,’” the magistrate continued, his voice calm as he dissected the plane.

“It brims with rich elemental energy, home to various intelligent races—beastman tribes in the north worshiping primal totems, elegant elves with kingdoms in ancient forests, stubborn dwarves renowned for forging in mountain depths, and human kingdoms with cities and knight orders on the plains.”

“According to ancient rumors, descendants of dragons and titans linger here. Their power systems center on magic and divine arts, worshipping a vast pantheon, from the Lord of the Underworld governing life and death to the Earth Mother granting harvests.”

The map lit up with increasing markers, showing the wizard vanguard’s territories and the native civilization’s domains.

“Our vanguard has established a solid foothold in Elosia,” the magistrate said, a trace of gravity in his tone. “But the war is at a stalemate. Elosia’s main gods—sixth-tier spirits led by a seventh-tier being they call the ‘God Above Gods’—stand in opposition to our Workshop’s high-level wizards, forming a delicate balance.”

The apprentices’ expressions shifted slightly.

A plane god capable of stalemating the Workshop’s high-level wizards was formidable.

Though wizards weren’t weaker, they were cautious of these native spirits’ potential to destroy the plane in a desperate act.

The existence of sixth- and seventh-tier beings in the reports posed a real danger to these apprentices, who weren’t even formal wizards.

“Your task is simple,” the magistrate’s gaze swept over every apprentice. “Break the balance and turn the tide!”

He paused, granting immense freedom: “Whether you seize strategic strongholds, weaken the gods’ faith, sway natives, hunt powerful magical beasts, or explore unknown ruins for valuable data—every contribution to the plane invasion will count as points toward your score!”

“The trial lasts up to one year, and the final outcome…” His voice turned low and enticing, like a devil’s whisper, captivating every wizard. “Will grant permanent ownership of this plane proportional to your contributions!”

“This…!”

“What?!”

The plaza erupted in disbelief.

Plane ownership!

The apprentices knew the rewards would be generous, as the Workshop’s summons had hinted at an unprecedented “opportunity.”

Basic information about Elosia had been distributed—a medium-sized plane.

Most notably, it naturally birthed a seventh-tier being, the “God Above Gods,” alongside a dozen sixth-tier and hundreds of fifth-tier beings.

Such a wealth of powerful beings spoke to the plane’s rich resources.

In Jie Ming’s view, this medium-sized plane rivaled even Noren Plane 13, transformed over centuries by wizards!

No, Noren Plane 13 couldn’t compare.

Beyond its central plane, Elosia was surrounded by hundreds of smaller planes—a medium-sized plane cluster!

What did this mean?

It wasn’t just a single plane but an entire resource ecosystem!

The apprentices were in a frenzy!

“Permanent ownership?!” someone exclaimed, eyes blazing with fervor. “A medium-sized plane cluster! Even a small core area could found a minor wizard family!”

“My god, I thought it’d be resources or points at best!” another apprentice said, voice trembling. “The Workshop’s going all out! They’re cultivating plane lords!”

“Ruling a realm…” someone murmured, eyes filled with longing for power and resources.

Amy and Victor were stunned. Amy covered her mouth, eyes wide with disbelief. “Permanent ownership? Victor, did I hear that right?”

Victor’s eyes lit up, his breathing heavy, fists clenched.

Jie Ming’s eyes showed no fervor but a flicker of astonishment.

He fought not for the wizard civilization’s expansion but for his own gain.

Yet, even for an individual, ownership of a medium-sized plane cluster was extravagant.

Even if divided by contribution, top performers would reap substantial rewards.

Such rewards… Noren Workshop was truly sparing no expense!

“No wonder they’re a civilization in its expansion phase—such wealth,” Jie Ming mused, calculating silently.

This wasn’t just the Workshop’s generosity but a reflection of the wizard civilization’s broader expansion strategy.

Only a rising power could offer such extravagant rewards.

If a force like Noren Workshop could afford this, Jie Ming couldn’t imagine what larger factions could offer.
