The girl’s face was pale and pure, her lips too red, immodest, exuding a sensual aura. She pursed them, appearing rather pitiful.
Jiang Wei knew that Shen Yue’s pitiful demeanor was an act.
She loved playing the victim the most.
He almost fell for it.
He stood with one hand in his pocket, his nose high, his lips thin and fierce. He pierced through her facade, "There's no need to pretend in front of me anymore."
With no one else around, Shen Yue dropped her pitiable act. Her dark eyes, clear as a mountain spring, were like a transparent, warm, deep pool, reflecting no one.
She wasn't pitiful; she was alluring.
Her pitiful appearance was merely a disguise to captivate hearts.
Just as the rumors described.
Or perhaps, even more beautiful than the rumors.
She looked at Jiang Wei, tilting her head, "Is there something you need from me?"
The girl's voice was soft and sweet.
It was like a hook, landing in his ears like a feather brushing against his heart, sending a tremor through him.
Jiang Wei’s gaze uncontrollably drifted to the girl’s lips, finding it hard to pull away.
He recalled the incident in the sports equipment room that day, how the girl was pinned down, her slender fingers resting on He Jiyue’s shoulder, her snow-white face flashing past.
Her lips were swollen, her chin wet, her nose tip red, she looked utterly ravaged.
Her dark hair, her cold white face, the mole on her nose bridge, and her pathetic, kissed expression.
This made Jiang Wei’s heart race.
She was so quiet and obedient, just letting someone kiss and suck her fiercely.
The girl sensed his burning gaze. Her brows curved, dimples appearing shallowly, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Jiang Wei startled, his gaze shifted upwards, meeting the girl's eyes. He suppressed his peculiar heartbeat, his throat bobbing several times, his voice inexplicably dry.
"What do you think?"
Shen Yue gazed at him with her dark eyes. After a moment, she suddenly smiled and said, "Do you want to kiss me?"
She asked directly.
There was no hint of ambiguity, as if kissing was a completely ordinary matter to her.
Pure yet provocative.
Jiang Wei’s chest trembled for a moment, veins bulging on his forehead, blood surging, unable to calm down.
"You… you…"
His breathing grew rapid, his cheeks slightly redder than usual.
What angered him most was that scenes began to play in his mind: if he were He Jiyue, he would be fiercer, meaner.
However, Shen Yue was too tainted; he didn't want to touch her.
Shen Yue returned to her usual quiet demeanor. Her facial lines were soft and clean, pure and beautiful, her lips a vibrant, striking color.
"I'm going home."
Shen Yue knew Jiang Wei wouldn't dare. He was disgusted; he wouldn't touch her, so Shen Yue wasn't afraid.
She picked up her schoolbag, her blue and white uniform clean and neat, like a good student.
As she passed Jiang Wei, her slender wrist was seized by a hot, broad palm, like a brand.
Shen Yue turned her head, looking somewhat puzzled.
Jiang Wei roughly pulled her towards him.
Before Shen Yue could react, Jiang Wei stared intently at her, bent down, lowered his lashes. His tall, upright frame loomed over Shen Yue’s confused, bewildered expression. His actions preceded his thoughts as he reached out and pinched her cheek.
A soft, delicate touch enveloped his fingers. He swallowed almost imperceptibly, his heart constricting, his fingertips burning.
Shen Yue's face was so small, fitting in his palm. Her chin was pointed, her face soft, looking at him with a confused innocence.
Jiang Wei's heart pounded. He blurted out, "How much do you charge to kiss someone?"
In his eyes, Shen Yue was no different from someone selling their body.
With his money, Shen Yue had no reason to refuse.
She had just extended an invitation; she was seducing him.
Jiang Wei was indeed getting interested.
He could offer double the price.
Shen Yue wasn't angry. Her dark eyes, like clear spring water under the moonlight in the dead of night, held a childlike innocence, a faint, shallow smile flowing through them.
"Do you want to kiss me?"
Jiang Wei gradually felt a heat rising, his heart uncontrollably pounding. With some difficulty, he replied, "Yes."
Shen Yue fell silent, simply looking at him.
Jiang Wei's rhythm was thrown off by her gaze. He held her fair, soft, cotton-like cheek, leaned in, his breath catching. As if bewitched, fierce and ruthless, with no hesitation, he urgently kissed her.

There was a physical education class in the afternoon.
Shen Yue’s constitution wasn't very good. After running three laps on the track, her face had turned pale.
Bai Qingzhen’s face was flushed from the heat. She frowned, "Yueyue, go buy me a bottle of water."
Still dizzy from the run, Shen Yue felt nauseous. Suppressing the urge to dry heave, she dug her fingertips deep into her palm and managed to say, "Is it mineral water or a beverage?"
Bai Qingzhen found a shady spot to sit. "A beverage, an iced one."
The store was a bit far from the track. The sun was strong in the afternoon, and Shen Yue felt a bit dizzy from the heat. The store had air conditioning, and as she stepped inside, the cool air blew away the heat.
The discomfort lessened. Shen Yue picked up a bottle of iced beverage and a bottle of room-temperature mineral water.
When she turned to pay, a group of people walked in through the store entrance, laughing and chatting. The boy in the middle was tall, with a stern, handsome face. He wore a black sleeveless vest, revealing his tanned muscles, which were smooth and full of power. Fine beads of sweat clung to them, glinting like gold.
Shen Yue calmly averted her gaze, lowering her head to pay.
Jiang Wei clearly saw the girl. His eyes flickered, then he casually looked away.
But after a few seconds, his gaze returned to the girl.
She was holding a bottle of beverage and mineral water.
The beverage was clearly just taken out of the iced refrigerator, water droplets still on its packaging.
Jiang Wei frowned, his brows slightly furrowed.
Shen Yue lowered her head, paid for the items, and brushed past the boys.
There was no eye contact, as if they were ordinary strangers passing by.
Yet, he had made her cry just yesterday, kissing her lips until she couldn't close them properly.
He felt a strange, inexplicable tightness in his chest, even a sense of displeasure.

The campus was quiet after school. The bell echoed, the teaching building was bleak and empty, with only scattered figures.
Under the sunset’s afterglow, golden light streamed down, ethereal and dreamlike, filtering through the dense leaves and onto the ground.
In the sparsely populated campus, sounds still emanated from the top floor of the teaching building.
The door to the rooftop was ajar.
Faint, indistinct voices could be heard.
Shen Yue, carrying her schoolbag, wearing the blue and white uniform, was slender, her snow-white face lifted.
"Class is over now. I need to go back to the dorm to do my homework."
She looked like a quiet, well-behaved good student.
