Chapter 205 If Beauty Was a Sin, Then She Was Beyond Redemption (27)

There were also a few from the same school whom Jiang Wei got along with quite well.

“Jiang Wei, want a game?”

A guy said with a smile. He was tall, with dark skin and two small dimples when he smiled. His fingers, with distinct joints, held cards.

His words were directed at Jiang Wei, but his gaze kept drifting towards Shen Yue, intentionally or not.

Shen Yue felt it and looked up.

The moment their eyes met, Xiao Tui froze.

The girl sat on the inner side, and Jiang Wei’s tall figure seemed to trap her in the shade between him and the wall.

Xiao Tui saw those eyes again.

The fleeting glance at the sports equipment earlier could be attributed to the intense surge of hormones.

But now, under the dim and ambiguous light, locking eyes with her, those eyes were as dark and tranquil as a deep, autumnal pool, so clean and captivatingly beautiful.

No matter how many times he looked, he was mesmerized.

Her eyebrows curved, and shallow dimples appeared.

His throat bobbed. His mind was flooded with uncontrollable images of a stuffy, restless space, fair skin, red lips, being held, lips being licked, bitten.

Then forced to let out tiny, muffled groans.

Shen Yue looked down and ordered some pastries, which a waiter quickly brought.

Jiang Wei wasn’t hungry, but watching Shen Yue eat made him feel a little peckish. However, he didn’t eat from the table; instead, he insisted on eating what Shen Yue had eaten, nuzzling close like a big dog begging its owner for food.

What was more, Jiang Wei himself didn't seem to notice. The people around him had gone from disbelief to being unfazed.

No one thought Jiang Wei was genuinely smitten; perhaps it was just a fleeting interest.

Several expensive bottles of liquor were on the coffee table. Jiang Wei took occasional sips and poured a glass for Shen Yue, saying, “Try it, it tastes pretty good.”

Shen Yue didn’t drink. She had class tomorrow, and drinking too much would give her a headache.

Jiang Wei wasn’t upset by the refusal; he drank it himself.

Xiao Tui watched her for a while before looking away, continuing to chat with Jiang Wei as if nothing had happened.

Shen Yue wasn’t very interested in their conversation, quietly enjoying the delicate and sweet pastries.

She was very well-behaved, very quiet.

As if she were not the one who had smiled so enchantingly at him just moments before.

The more she acted like this, the more restless Xiao Tui became, as if countless ants were gnawing at him, making him uncomfortable all over.

His gaze fell upon Shen Yue more and more frequently.

Jiang Wei, who was playing with Shen Yue’s hand, didn’t notice.

She felt a sting on her finger and looked sideways. Jiang Wei was biting her finger. He didn’t dare to be too rough, bit down once, and then released, lingeringly licking it.

Shen Yue took a tissue, wiped her finger, and turned to Jiang Wei.

“I’m going to the restroom.”

Jiang Wei stood up to let her pass but held her hand, saying, “I’ll go with you.”

His friends nearby teased him about being clingy, but Jiang Wei didn’t care. He pulled Shen Yue along, preparing to leave.

Shen Yue refused, “No need. Wait for me here.”

Jiang Wei was unwilling. He tightened his grip on her wrist, saying, “You don’t know the way. What if you get lost?”

This was completely unnecessary. After all, there were still waiters, and the place was not that large. Where could she possibly get lost?

She squeezed his palm, feeling a tickle. He unconsciously swallowed, his broad back bending, like a restless wolfhound, head lowered, nuzzling wildly in the hollow of her neck.

The sweet scent from her soft skin wafted into his nostrils, his blood instantly boiling.

His large palm landed on Shen Yue’s waist.

His voice was muffled and husky.

“Then come back soon.”

He was clingy, as if he couldn't live without her for a moment.

Shen Yue softly agreed. As she left, her gaze inadvertently flickered towards Xiao Tui.

Xiao Tui, seizing an opportunity when no one was paying attention, also quietly left.

The restroom did not smell unpleasant. It was scented with incense, and everything was very clean.

The faucet was motion-activated. Shen Yue placed her hand under it, and water automatically flowed out. She washed her hands meticulously and then dried them.

Beyond the restroom was a corridor. Shen Yue spotted the boy she expected in a corner.

Perhaps due to being a sports student, his skin was a bronze hue, somewhat dark. His face was handsome, with a hint of aggression.

The boy silently appraised her for a few minutes. She felt his hot, blatant gaze and walked towards him.

The girl looked up at him. The red mole on her nose was pretty and alluring. She remained silent, looking at him.

She was seducing him.

A surge of heat rose within Xiao Tui.

Her expression was serene, like a painting. Her dark, moist eyes were hazy, like a clean lake, devoid of any seductive color.

Yet, it was impossible to look away.

Though as quiet as a secluded orchid, she was more alluring and captivating than any overt seduction.

She easily stirred up the wicked desires and impure thoughts in his heart.

Concealing the darkness in his eyes, the corner of his lips curved slightly upward, his throat bobbed, and a low laugh was muffled in his chest as he stared directly at Shen Yue.

“Something to tell me? Smiling so flirtatiously. Can’t Jiang Wei satisfy you alone?”

As he spoke, he reached out and grasped the girl’s waist. It was a delicate circle, soft enough that a gentle squeeze left finger marks.

Shen Yue gazed at him quietly, without speaking, letting him hold her.

Xiao Tui’s dark eyes were clouded with silent desire. His shadowed gaze drifted over Shen Yue’s fair, delicate face. He reached out his large, warm hand to touch it. It was soft and tender, making it incredibly easy to become addicted.

Her long lashes fluttered slightly. Her dark eyes were misty, reflecting nothing.

She lowered her gaze and asked, “You were the one who hit He Ji, weren’t you?”

He Ji?

The air fell silent for a moment. Xiao Tui let out a slight "tsk," feeling inexplicably annoyed, and said hoarsely, “So what if I did?”

He had no reason to hide it. He simply disliked He Ji. Hitting him with a stool was letting him off easy. Xiao Tui even regretted not hitting him a few more times.

However, Shen Yue bringing up his name at this moment only angered him further.

Did Shen Yue lure him out just for this matter?

The feeling of hot impulse stirred. He dropped his smile, speaking with a dangerous casualness, “Judging by how much blood there was, he would need several stitches, right? I wonder if he was dumbed down.”

His malice was unconcealed.

His arrogance was inhuman.

He Ji had never offended him, yet the force of his attack was as if he were aiming for his life.

Shen Yue looked at him. Her dark eyes remained clear and innocent. “Why?”

Xiao Tui never needed a reason to dislike someone. Even though he had beaten He Ji and sent him to the hospital, he was still fine, eating well, sleeping well, perhaps just uttering a few inconsequential words.

He pinched the girl’s earlobe, his grip a little heavy, turning it red.
