Chaos Realm?
Xia Feng's entire being felt numb.
Was there ever an end to it? Before, in the Divine Realm, a Sacred Realm had appeared, and now a Chaos Realm emerged. It was just like leveling up in a game, with no end in sight.
Xia Feng was utterly speechless. What was the point of coming to the Sacred Realm?
Could he ever recover his memories?
"Just tell me truthfully, what lies above the Chaos Realm? You make me feel very puzzled, as if it's endless, giving me the illusion of an infinite progression."
Xia Feng, thoroughly annoyed, stared at the little piglet and questioned it.
He had just wanted to beat up the little piglet, but now the little piglet told him he wasn't qualified, his strength was still insufficient, and he couldn't harm it.
How frustrating is that?
Anyone with a normal mind would feel incredibly angry, wouldn't they?
This was simply preposterous, beyond belief.
"Master, I truly cannot answer this. It is beyond the scope of my memory." The little piglet appeared helpless.
"Then tell me, what was the purpose of my coming to the Sacred Realm?" Xia Feng asked directly.
If coming to the Sacred Realm couldn't restore his memories, then what was the point of it?
Was it just to level up and show off?
"Of course, there is a very important matter. You need to find the Seven-Colored Disk. This is the most crucial step for Master to recover his memories. When the time comes, dripping the blood of those few individuals into the colored disk will unlock your memories, allowing you to return to the Chaos Realm and reclaim everything that rightfully belongs to you."
Seeing that Xia Feng was losing his patience and was on the verge of exploding, the little piglet quickly explained the purpose of coming to the Divine Realm.
"Wait, what did you just say?" Xia Feng interrupted.
"The Seven-Colored Disk," the little piglet emphasized.
"No, the last sentence. What did you mean by 'reclaim everything that rightfully belongs to you'?"
Xia Feng seized upon a loophole in the little piglet's words and pressed further.
What did it mean by reclaiming everything that belonged to him? If that was the case, then his 'rebirth' wasn't voluntary, but forced?
This was absurd, almost comical.
If that were true, then his past self wasn't doing so well either. At least being forced to be reborn implied a threat to his life.
Otherwise, why would he choose to be reborn out of the blue?
"No, I didn't say that." The little piglet quickly shook its head, looking bewildered. "Master, did you mishear? When did I say that?"
The little piglet put on an act of being confused and clueless.
"Heh... I knew you were disloyal. You actually know everything but pretend to be forgetful to deceive me. Every time it reaches a crucial point, you manage to recall some useful information. Does such a coincidence exist in this world? Once is a coincidence, twice is barely a coincidence, but three or four times? Do you take me for a fool?"
Xia Feng sneered. He felt ashamed that he had thought he had treated the little piglet poorly in the Divine Realm not long ago, feeling some guilt.
Looking back now, he realized his heart had been too soft.
This little piglet was simply asking to be beaten. It wasn't amnesia; it was selective amnesia.
"Master, you are slandering me. It's really not like that. Whenever I remember something, I tell you immediately." The little piglet continued to feign a troubled expression.
"Scram, still pretending."
Xia Feng was absolutely unwilling to believe him this time. He had slipped up, and now he wouldn't admit it.
"Alright, Master, what do you want to know?" The little piglet stopped pretending to be innocent and asked in return.
"What you just mentioned. What did you mean by reclaiming what belongs to me? For what reason did my past self reincarnate?"
It was better for the little piglet not to have slipped up. Now that it had, and Xia Feng had overheard it, how could he not be curious?
After all, everyone wants to know the truth about matters concerning themselves.
"Alas... Master, why do you have to make things difficult for me? Everything I do is for your safety. Some things cannot be told to you in advance. If you knew them beforehand, your state of mind would change significantly, and all your efforts would be in vain."
"I was created by Master, and my life can be sacrificed for Master at any time. But some things truly cannot be told to you now."
"Master, I pretended to have lost my memory precisely because I feared you would force me to speak. I actually haven't lost my memory at all. If I truly had lost my memory, I wouldn't be able to help Master manage many things."
"Master, when the time comes to speak, I will tell you. Please forgive my concealment, Master. You will understand my intentions after you recover your memories."
This time, the little piglet finally poured out its heart, revealing everything it had been hiding.
Except for the things it couldn't say, it had said everything it could.
Xia Feng had long suspected that the little piglet was faking amnesia, but it was good at playing pitiful and its act was convincing.
If it hadn't accidentally let slip just now, Xia Feng wouldn't have doubted it.
Looking at the little piglet's serious expression, Xia Feng confirmed:
"You really can't say?"
