The two individuals were of different heights, dressed neatly and presentably, with rather regular features. However, their eyes held a hint of provocative mischief and charm.
"Go away. Who wants to drink with you? Go find somewhere cool to hang out," the woman in the blue dress glared at them, pulling Qin Si Yue's arm.
"We're looking to drink with this beauty, not you. What's your hurry?"
The taller man's lips curved upwards. He circled Qin Si Yue,
"I see this beauty has a good tolerance for alcohol and hasn't had her fill yet. How about I join you for a few drinks?"
Qin Si Yue remained silent. She looked up towards the private room Han Hao Ming had entered.
Just then, the door was opened from the inside, and Han Hao Ming stepped out, his gaze meeting hers once again.
Qin Si Yue quickly averted her eyes, a faint smile playing on her lips. She then turned to the taller man and said, "Alright. You decide how we drink. This lady will accompany you to the end today."
Upon hearing this, the taller man felt a surge of delight. "This beauty is truly generous. I enjoy drinking with people like you."
With that, he gestured for the shorter man behind him to fetch several bottles of high-end red wine and glasses.
He personally opened the wine bottles, filling each glass, and placed three glasses each in front of Qin Si Yue and himself.
"Three glasses each. Whoever finishes first wins. The winner can ask the loser to do one thing. What do you think?"
"Okay. No problem," Qin Si Yue replied confidently.
She had drunk all sorts of red wine and was quite confident in her capacity.
Could these few glasses of wine possibly stump her?
Yuan Yuan stepped forward, blocking them. "This is too unfair. You're a man, and you naturally have a higher tolerance. How can you compete like this with a woman?"
The taller man chuckled upon hearing this. He quickly poured himself another glass. "You have a point. I'll drink four glasses, alright?"
The competition officially began. At the shorter man's signal, Qin Si Yue and the taller man immediately picked up their wine glasses and started drinking.
The man drank quickly, gulping down his third glass in no time.
He couldn't help but glance down at Qin Si Yue, a sly expression in his eyes.
Qin Si Yue had managed the first two glasses smoothly, but her pace significantly slowed with the third.
Perhaps it was because she had already consumed quite a bit, and the wine was stronger than usual.
She distinctly felt her head swimming and her legs unsteady.
Her friend beside her looked distressed and advised, "Si Yue, how about we stop? We don't have to compete."
Qin Si Yue raised her hand to stop her from speaking and tilted her head back, continuing to drink the glass one mouthful at a time.
However, as she laboriously finished the drink and looked up, she was met with the triumphant smile of the taller man.
"My apologies, beauty. I finished 5 seconds before you."
Hearing this, Qin Si Yue's eyes grew blurry, and her body swayed slightly as she began to fall towards him.
The man's lips curved to a smirk, and he reached out, catching her body. He feigned concern, asking, "Miss, what's wrong? I haven't even made my request yet, and you're already..."
Before he could finish his sentence, he was violently kicked from behind and immediately fell to his knees.
The beauty in his arms, however, was safely pulled into Han Hao Ming's embrace, unharmed.
Seeing this, the shorter man immediately lunged at Han Hao Ming.
Han Hao Ming shielded the person in his arms, sidestepped, and delivered a flying kick. The man instantly crashed several meters away.
A gasp of shock erupted from the hall as all eyes turned towards them.
At this moment, Zou He and another plainclothes police officer emerged from the private room. Upon seeing the commotion, they immediately rushed over.
"Captain Han, what's going on?"
Han Hao Ming's face was stern as he commanded, "Take those two on the ground to the station."
Glancing at the woman in his arms, Zou He's heart skipped a beat, and he understood everything. He immediately replied, "Yes, sir."
The two men were quickly escorted out.
Han Hao Ming held the woman in his arms and softly called out, "Qin Si Yue, wake up."
However, Qin Si Yue did not open her eyes. Instead, she nuzzled against his chest, her lips moving, emitting an indistinct murmur.
Han Hao Ming's heart tightened. He immediately scooped her up and, under the astonished gaze of everyone present, swiftly exited the hall.
