Chapter 71 Ayou’s Talent

The next day, Ye Ju was awakened by a ray of sunshine on the island. The warm sunlight seeped in through the cracks in the window.

Xiao Bai, sleeping beside Ye Ju, yawned elegantly with a languid demeanor. Ye Ju's nose was tickled by Xiao Bai's fur, and she couldn't help but sneeze.

Finally, Chao Yang Zi slept in Xiao Bai's room, while A You and Xiao Wang You slept on the boat. However, Ye Ju knew that Chao Yang Zi was meditating and had not slept.

Ye Ju didn't know what was happening, but she now realized, with a touch of belated understanding, that when she slept, the surrounding spiritual energy was automatically absorbed into her dantian. In other words, Ye Ju didn't need to deliberately meditate and regulate her breathing.

Spiritual Light Burst: Ye Ju's subsequent Yu Shou (at this time, Yu Shou was just a broken stick) had silently followed her. Back then, she had no spiritual power to detect it. While heartbroken, she sat alone on the mountain peak for a day. Yu Shou deliberately appeared beside her, and she picked it up casually. Then, the story began as the fire stick turned into Yu Shou.

Ye Ju's Five-Colored Beads: Red, blue, yellow, green, white.

Ye Ju had a dream. In the dream, her uncle, an elder in her family, encountered trouble. When building a house, he encroached on someone else's land. Her uncle, who had a slight understanding of Feng Shui, set up a killing array under the eaves to ward off all evil spirits. What her uncle didn't know was that his neighbors were a family of thousand-year-old ghosts. The old ghosts didn't mind that her uncle's house occupied more than a meter of their land. After all, after a thousand years, times change. Later generations don't know who is buried beneath their feet. Even if you were an emperor or a general, you couldn't withstand the shovel of a living person.

Therefore, the old ghosts understood that times were different. But setting up a killing array was a matter of life and death. That was a different story. They sent a dream to her uncle, asking him to dismantle the house and move. Her uncle was unwilling. Why shouldn't you move? So they approached Ye Ju, asking her to go home and find her friend, the Feng Shui master Hua Xun, for help. Ye Ju was a little confused. Did she have such a friend? She tried using a sound transmission talisman to send a message.

Someone really came. A man with a thick beard, thick eyebrows, and big eyes, with a hearty laugh. As soon as she saw him, she blurted out, "Where have you been fighting monsters lately!" Ye Ju was a bit stunned. In her memory, she clearly didn't know this person, yet she felt so familiar, as if she had fought alongside him.

He paused for a moment, then laughed heartily and said, "I'll invite you next time. You can be a great help." Why did she dare to go with him when she was clearly afraid of ghosts and monsters? Then, she familiarized herself with him as they set up the formation and summoned the thousand-year-old ghosts. The old ghosts happily asked for her help to move. Ye Ju could see that the old ghosts were afraid of Hua Xun and dared not speak. The moment they saw him, they immediately conceded. The problem was easily resolved. Her uncle and aunt were overjoyed and invited Hua Xun to dinner, wanting to get his contact information. During dinner, Hua Xun kept glancing at her. Ye Ju felt a sourness in her heart. She wanted to get closer, but it seemed she knew some taboos that made her hesitant. Later, Hua Xun left without saying goodbye, which made Ye Ju extremely sad. She loved being with Hua Xun; she could laugh heartily and frolic freely. Then she woke up from the dream.
