The chariot that flew into the sky did not head for the edge of the world but arrived at the North Star.
The gods were astonished by the actions of the Thunder God, inevitably believing that this chief god, worried about the safety of the journey, wanted to invite the God of Calamity to accompany him. Their hearts held a contempt for Zeus.
Unexpectedly, Kanna did not accompany them. Instead, the star gods with weak divine power still followed the chief god.
Just as the gods were bewildered by the actions of this new chief god, Zeus set off for the edge of the world to begin his first patrol.
The stars in the sky moved towards the outer reaches of the world at the command of the star gods. Tyche understood her son's intentions and granted the star gods partial access to the sky. Five massive stars entered different locations through a portal. They confirmed their positions with each other through directional divine power, and then began to slowly revolve around the earth.
Tyche could not help but clap her hands in admiration. Zeus seemed to have been well-prepared. To deal with Okeanos's trial, the Thunder God had already devised a method to easily fulfill his duties, and it was now being put to good use!
The star gods separated, using the light of the North Star to connect with each other, forming a vast net. Zeus, with the help of his subordinate gods, managed to evade the duty of guarding the world.
Just as the gods were discussing and praising Zeus's wisdom, Zeus in the sky, under the watchful eyes of everyone, brazenly launched an assault on the powerful divine force!
Tyche's heart tightened. She appeared beside her son to guard against interference from those with ill intentions. Kanna on the North Star also left his divine palace to join his mother and younger brother.
Who would dare to act rashly under the gaze of two powerful divine forces? They silently looked at Zeus, who was resplendent at this moment.
Lightning brought destruction, yet within this destructive power lay burgeoning vitality. The laws once again crowned this chief god. Primordial force embraced Zeus, bringing him transformation. The world offered its blessings for the birth of a powerful divine force, and various domains opened their doors to this newly born powerful divine force.
Zeus, having successfully advanced, obtained a new divine position from the primordial force. The divine position of Kingship favored this majestic Thunder God, choosing him as its first master.
A jubilant Kanna stepped forward to embrace his younger brother, excitedly congratulating Zeus on his advancement. The three powerful divine forces returned to the divine palace together. The opportunistic gods immediately surrounded them, showering Zeus with flattery and praise, elevating him to the heavens. Tyche proudly met Krios's unwilling gaze, a provocative smile playing on her lips.
Zeus's advancement came at the perfect time. Iapetus had truly shot himself in the foot! Tyche's excitement was palpable, thinking that now there was absolute certainty, but a growing unease poured cold water on her enthusiasm!
At this point, could there still be a variable? It could only be Gaia intervening with a dimensional strike. However, she also had the Abyss and Night behind her. Was Gaia not afraid of returning empty-handed and losing face in front of the gods?
Her suspicion deepened. Tyche tensed her nerves, preparing for a head-on blow from Gaia.
The subsequent celebration banquet, however, was as peaceful as ever. The unexpected event Tyche had speculated about did not occur.
Zeus, confident of victory, made a grand spectacle of himself. In the eyes of the gods, there was no longer any suspense about who would inherit the position of Divine King. Naturally, they flocked to establish connections with this soon-to-be Divine King.
Zeus also handled these opportunists with ease, a reserved yet warm smile on his face.
Now, Zeus only needed to wait for Kronos's children to come of age! Tyche's state of mind had returned to peace. She chatted and laughed with the approaching goddesses, ignoring their occasional bold probes.
The gods of prophecy and the sky might become the biggest winners. The God of Growth's side immediately became deserted. Krios forced a strained smile and echoed their sentiments, his ever-changing face almost dripping with displeasure.
Tyche felt a sense of incongruity once again, as if someone was missing at this moment. Tracing her memory, she found no clues.
Perhaps she was just nervous from Gaia's unfathomable nature, Tyche reassured herself.
The following days were calm. Krios seemed to have given up the struggle for the Divine King's throne, quietly staying in his divine palace and not venturing out.
Tyche continued to monitor this biggest competitor, not letting down her guard due to the God of Growth's apparent weakness. However, even Tyche had to admit Krios's docility. No one had visited the God of Growth's divine palace during this time. Not long ago, he had even requested his neglected wife, Eurynome, to convey his intention of retirement to Tyche.
The goddess instructed her sons in the sky to be constantly vigilant of Krios. Under Zeus's command, the star gods ceaselessly monitored the movements on the divine mountain. Meanwhile, Tyche's attention was drawn by unexpected visitors.
The two deities who arrived at the Invisible Island were Hades and Poseidon. Thanks to Tyche's protection, the two deities had enjoyed a period of peace.
The truth that "people leave when the tea gets cold" is often true. The Divine King's children did not receive much help from their parents' brothers. The Titans might pity their sister's passing, but they did not have deep affection for her sons. The lessons the two princes learned from interacting with the gods were not free.
Iris welcomed the two deities into the divine palace and then returned to her chief god's side, standing beside Tyche with her sister.
The two dejected princes first expressed their respect to Tyche. Tyche smiled and conjured a seat from the ground for them to sit.
"Your Highness Tyche, our sister Hera asked us to convey her greetings and thank you for the assistance you once rendered her."
Hades spoke first, using the greetings of the goddess of marriage to draw closer to them. Tyche smiled faintly, realizing that the god of wealth had learned a lot during this time.
Recalling the mad goddess, Tyche decided not to reveal her true nature to Rhea's sons.
The goddess sighed with lowered eyes, "I had a secret transaction with Rhea. I promised to provide all possible assistance to her children. Your mother... loved you."
'It's just that you were not as important to her as your husband.' Tyche kept the unspoken truth hidden in her heart.
Leaving Rhea with some dignity was the only thing Tyche could do now. At least her children would remember her for it.
Hades and Poseidon exchanged glances. The sea-god with blue hair could not help but implore Tyche for help, "Your Highness, then please show us mercy for our mother's sake."
The impetuous Poseidon lowered his stance considerably. Tyche's heart stirred. A premonition of fate reappeared, and the lingering anxiety in her heart would be resolved by their arrival.
Tyche immediately became invigorated and kindly asked the two deities about their difficulties.
