Wojin exclaimed in dismay, her coin-shaped pupils dimming.
Her expression shifted dramatically, and Wojin calmed herself to ask, "At least you have a plan. The Church of Benevolence is purchasing supplies and gathering followers. I've noticed these supplies are for construction and planting. You have your own fallback."
Tika smiled without answering, gesturing for Wojin to continue.
"The followers of the Gloaming Maiden are doing the same thing! Since you can accept Eilistraee's joining, there's no reason you can't accept me."
Wojin stated gravely, "As long as you can include me in your plan, I am willing to pay for all the supplies purchased by the Church of Benevolence! Not only that, but I will bring double the amount of supplies! My followers are all influential great merchants, and they have their own unique advantages in selection and procurement."
"My plan is very simple." Under Wojin's continuous increase in offers, Tika reluctantly revealed her plan.
"I will take Eilistraee's avatar and a group of followers to another world. That world also has deities, and I have had dealings with the ruler of that world; he is willing to help us."
In fact, it was Ilúvatar who had no time to deal with Sauron, who was acting tyrannically in the world of the Rings, and asked Tika to repay the favor for driving away Azathoth.
Tika was at a critical juncture in her game with Ao, unable to extricate herself, and thus this grand event took place.
Eilistraee was truly suited to the world of the Rings. The Mirkwood was her domain. As a deity of the elves, obtaining faith was easy with Ilúvatar's permission.
In her long divine career, the Gloaming Maiden had explored her divine portfolio and domain enough to advance to intermediate deity status. The only thing missing was faith! As Eilistraee's chief deity, no one could object to Tika expanding her faith. On the other hand, letting Corellon know that she had a private relationship with a creator deity was enough to reassure the Corellon faction.
The Oath of the River Styx could not restrain ancient gods and primal gods. Tika's actions were somewhat of a warning. After all, Odin's avatar was an old fox, and at a critical moment, he might even sell himself for a higher price, so it was necessary to guard against it.
Wojin voluntarily applied to join the migration plan, which Tika was naturally delighted to accept. Someone who brought their own provisions to help was a rare find.
However, Tika did not deceive her. Even powerful deities could become cannon fodder, let alone intermediate deities.
Moreover, as far as Tika knew, there were no deities in the world of the Rings who mastered the commercial domain, so Wojin was not at a disadvantage.
After pretending to be hesitant several times and refusing, Tika reluctantly accepted Wojin's joining, and Wojin was completely tied to Tika's chariot, unable to escape the vortex.
Overjoyed, Wojin immediately split some of her divinity, handed it over to Tika for safekeeping, and then mobilized her followers to purchase the corresponding supplies.
Tika allowed Wojin and Eilistraee to each bring a contingent of 300 followers as a foundation to maintain their existence. The world of the Rings was not peaceful, and with this assistance, many early troubles could be avoided.
The Prime Material Plane was in turmoil. Even the return of Bane, the Tyrant God, and Bhaal, the God of Murder, did not cause much of a stir. The two reborn powerful deities arrived at the worst possible time, playing into the hands of Iyachtu Xvim, they were destined to be cannon fodder. Who knew if they would have the luck to return next time.
Thanks to Tika's assistance, Mystra was far ahead of the other members of the Alliance. Before her subordinate deities could no longer bear it and were about to leave the magical pantheon, she finally saw a glimmer of hope.
"Have you really thought it through? If anything goes wrong, you will face a fate worse than oblivion."
In the flowing ocean of light, Tika asked Mystra, whose expression was joyful.
"I've had enough."
Mystra's answer was resolute, "I've had enough of being a pawn of Ao! I am the Mother of Magic, the Lord of Mysteries! Yet he uses me as a tool without emotion or self! I have already fallen three times!"
"The pain of each fall is etched into my soul, driving me to the brink of madness! Yet Ao will not even grant me peace in death! What humiliation this is!"
Mystra had truly burned her bridges. A cold light flashed in her deep pupils.
Since Mystra had made up her mind, even at the cost of complete annihilation, Tika could only silently wish her success in her heart.
The Weave, rooted in various planes, revealed its mysterious and magnificent essence, and the spellcasters were ecstatic, constantly praising Mystra's greatness.
Vast amounts of energy flowed through the Weave, and the dazzling magical aura almost drowned the Prime Material Plane.
The calm ocean of moonlight also rippled because of this. Mystra, at the center of the vortex, merged into the Weave in a pure energy form. The invisible threads of the Weave became as tangible as bright silver due to her integration, visible even to goblins who could not sense magical energy.
The 13 layers of the Weave merged into one, and the shining silver began to erode the Shadow Weave, which was intrinsically linked to the Weave.
Shar did not repair the already damaged Shadow Weave, and Mystra proceeded unimpeded, successfully gaining control of the Shadow Weave!
Unlike the ecstatic gods of magic, Tika's heart skipped a beat, and then sank heavily.
"This is bad!"
With the protection of the laws, even Ao could not stop Mystra from breaking through the final step. Mystra, now integrated with the Weave, was at her most powerful and most vulnerable. No one could interfere with her transformation, except for her two mothers who shared the same essence!
The lost powers of Shar and Selûne gave birth to the Weave and Talos. Unlike Talos, who was born during the battle between the two goddesses, the Weave was born from the fusion of the goddesses' divine essence, making it closer to these two goddesses.
Tika noticed that as the Shadow Weave was swallowed by demons, the original silver light gradually became dyed with deep darkness and pure light! Shar and Selûne had made their move!
This discovery sent Tika's heart to the bottom. There was an inseparable connection between divine essences of the same origin, and Mystra was likely in grave danger this time.
The wriggling threads of the Weave gradually stopped. Without Mystra's control, the vast energy did not cause destruction to the Prime Material Plane as it had last time.
A continuous stream of energy flowed into the Weave through the four elemental planes, forcing Mystra, who was struggling, to divert her attention to controlling this energy to prevent damage to the Weave. She was now the Weave, and if it were damaged again, it would be no different from harming her true body.
Tika sighed softly, "Mystra, the laws have abandoned you."
The primordial force that had originally protected Mystra now became a restraint. She could only watch as Shar and Selûne drained her divinity without being able to resist.
"Heaven and Earth are not benevolent; they treat all things as straw dogs."
Seeing that Mystra had no strength left to fight back, Tika understood that the laws intended to use Mystra as a bargaining chip to increase Shar and Selûne's chances of advancement! Trading one for two was a profitable deal for the laws.
Mystra no longer had the strength to struggle. The silver light dimmed, and a strange phenomenon of half darkness and half light appeared in the sky.
The ancient sun god Amaunator, wearing the guise of Lathander, and Iyachtu Xvim, the Recorder of Death, also made their moves at this time! The sun appeared in the night sky, rivaling the moon; the cold touch of death followed closely, bringing equal silence to all the living.
