Hearing their daughter's words, Tethys could only lament for the two excellent deities before her spirit lifted. Grasping Tyche's arm, she asked, "What about Atlas, the strong one? He is the mightiest among the gods and inherited the Titans' robust physique!"
The troubled Tyche racked her brain for a reason. "Tall Atlas? I detest his roughness and stupidity!"
Seeing Tethys about to list the remaining male gods of the second generation of Titans, Tyche immediately decided to find an excuse to leave. "My benevolent mother, Asteria is my dearest friend, how can I not bestow generous gifts upon her wedding? Please allow me to depart first."
The Oceanid then ceased her endless chatter and produced a golden goblet for Tyche to carry. "This is my gift for Asteria, a spring that flows with hot water at a glance. Please deliver it to her for me."
Tyche took the golden goblet filled with clear water and quickened her pace, leaving her mother's divine temple.
Back on the sea surface, Tyche let out a sigh of relief, her heart still pounding. It seemed it was best not to return to the underwater temple for a while.
Strolling across the vast expanse of the sea, Tyche suddenly felt a pair of eyes watching her and immediately looked up along the gaze. Helios, driving the sun chariot, passed through the sky. The golden-eyed deity looked down at Tyche on the sea, his strong arms pulling the reins, the smooth and hard lines of his arms catching Tyche's attention.
Meeting the Sun God's gaze awkwardly, Tyche forced a calm nod to greet him. Helios, as steady as ever, nodded in response and then, pulling the sun, continued to fulfill his divine duty.
Tyche, wordless, watched the sun's brilliance disappear behind the other side of the mountain and covered her face with her hand, letting out a small wail.
"What is wrong with me? Was I swayed by Asteria's words?"
Tyche murmured in disbelief, the icy power of snow enveloping her body, instantly extinguishing the flame ignited in her heart.
Gazing thoughtfully at the distant, radiant, and majestic divine mountain, a layer of white light veiled Tyche's eyes. She used the power of fate to observe her abnormality.
"What is this?"
Tyche picked up a wisp of red mist that appeared before her, examining this power with curiosity. The red mist permeated the land, filled with a mesmerizing divine power. Upon closer inspection, a vigorous life force could be felt. Flying into the sky and looking down, the life on the earth was vibrant within this power. The surviving beasts rushed out of the forests, entwined with each other. The wildness in their eyes faded, replaced by surging primal desires.
"The divine power of lust!" Tyche's heart tightened. No wonder she had suddenly lost her composure and control.
The domain of Pontus surged with the brilliance of lust. The light of life in the sea became even more dazzling. Uranus, slumbering in the sky, also showed signs of awakening amidst the fluctuations of this power.
Mount Othrys, where the gods resided, suddenly began to shake, and all the gods sensed its call.
Tyche unfurled her aurora wings, enveloping her body, and headed towards the sacred mountain. The King of Gods, Cronus, sat on his throne, his gloomy expression unmasked. The haggard Rhea was even somewhat panicked, her weak body hidden behind the throne as if seeking security.
The twelve Olympian Titans had all arrived, and the gods took their seats in order. A silent curtain enveloped the solemn divine temple. Tyche sat down beside Asteria. Her dim throne emitted a blue-white glow, and the symbols of clouds and rain representing climate, and snow, appeared on the seat. The dice representing the power of fate spun incessantly, echoing the nearby throne of the night sky, which shimmered with starlight.
Asteria turned her head and whispered, "All the gods are waiting for the Earth Mother's arrival. The sky is beginning to awaken due to the power of lust, your opportunity has come!"
Tyche nodded gently. "The lost power of Uranus has been completely severed with the intervention of the great Pontus. This power will give birth to a new deity."
The conversation between the two goddesses of fate drew the attention of the main gods. The Queen of Gods saw Tyche and nodded with a forced smile as a gesture of friendship.
The goddesses immediately retreated under the gaze of the main gods, sitting upright in the thrones symbolizing intermediate divine power, their powerful majesty making the curious lesser deities avert their gaze.
The majestic Earth Mother finally arrived at the divine temple. This was the first time the two had met since Cronus openly defied this primordial goddess in public.
Sitting on the heavy throne, Gaea was clearly still angered. Instead of looking at her youngest son, the King of Gods, she asked her eldest son, Oceanus, "How did Pontus in the sea explain this?"
The Oceanid lowered his head humbly. "His Highness Pontus is pacifying the newborn consciousness, and the power of lust on the earth is also dissipating."
Gaea's gaze was sharp as a knife. "Foolish Pontus! How dare he covet the separated divinity of Uranus! Now that Uranus has been awakened by him, he will pay the price for it!"
Raising her scepter and striking the ground heavily, a deity emerged from the mountains. The powerful divine pressure made the weak divine powers below tremble.
The deity, with vacant eyes, strode into the sea and seized the unresisting Pontus. His massive palm tore half of Pontus's divinity from him, and like discarding trash, he threw the howling Pontus into the sea.
