Chapter 378: The End of the World! Why Not Come and Relax!

[Ren: Perhaps you can relax and change your mood.]

[Yuzuriha Inori: Relax?]

[Ding! Ren has sent Yuzuriha Inori an exclusive Red Packet!]

Inori tilted her head and chose to accept. [Ding! Yuzuriha Inori has claimed the exclusive Red Packet!]

She saw that she had gained 1,000 doomsday points, then saw Ren’s message.

[Ren: Wait for my news.]

Although she didn’t know what was happening, she still chose to agree. [Yuzuriha Inori: Okay.]

Ren closed the Chat Group and picked up the shy Rope from his lap. This action startled her again, her two bunny ears drooping. He smiled, carrying her back to the bed like a small pet and covering her with the quilt. Finally, he leaned down and gently kissed her forehead.

Rope tried to reach out, but he stood up and dodged. He pinched her face. "Don’t get carried away, my little rabbit."

"...M-hm," she nodded, her face flushed.

"Rest. I’m going out." After saying that, his figure vanished.

She blinked her moist eyes. His sudden disappearance was very magical, but Rope, whose life had suddenly changed, felt that none of it mattered anymore. Feeling a strange warmth spreading from where he had kissed her, she immediately burrowed further into the quilt, even more shy.

"Just a kiss feels so comfortable." She had never experienced this feeling of being cared for. She felt like she was going to drown in it. She slowly closed her eyes. I hope I don’t wake up to find it was all a dream.

The End of the World. A rather noisy but orderly bar.

Ren entered. The first thing he heard was rhythmic rap music. His gaze quickly locked onto a table surrounded by three sofas. Exusiai’s halo was exceptionally conspicuous.

Croissant took a swig of her drink, pouting. "Exu, we still haven’t settled the score for today!" She was very displeased with Exu’s forceful act of dragging her into the car.

Exusiai glared back. "It’s all because you couldn’t control your mouth."

"What I said was the truth! You were clearly talking in your sleep," Croissant retorted.

Texas silently watched while drinking. A small, golden-haired Cautus disguised as a Lupo wanted to mediate but didn’t know how.

"Talking in your sleep about what?" Ren interjected.

The group looked at him. Exusiai immediately stood up. "Ren, you’re here."

Texas thoughtfully moved to the side, clearing a space. Ren returned a grateful smile and sat down. "What were you two just talking about?"

Exusiai frantically winked at Croissant, who chuckled. "It’s nothing. Exu just wants to buy my collection."

"???" Upon hearing this, Exusiai widened her eyes, her expression making it clear to Croissant: Taking an inch and wanting a mile!

"What do you mean? When did I ever say I wanted to buy your junk?"

The clever Croissant grinned. "Oh dear, I seem to have misremembered. The Exu we were talking about, she..."

Startled, seeing Croissant about to expose her and cause her social death, Exusiai quickly interjected, "Hahaha, no, I didn’t misremember! I really do want to buy it." She had admitted defeat.

Ren smiled without speaking. How could he not have heard them? He proactively changed the subject. "Exu, aren’t you going to introduce me to this lovely girl?" He was naturally referring to the girl curiously observing him.

"Oh, hello, I’m Sora, an employee of Penguin Logistics."

"Nice to meet you. I’m Exu’s friend, Ren." The two shook hands briefly.

Then, he politely asked the others, "Can I invite a friend to come along? She’s been going through some things and is in a bad mood. I want her to relax."

Exusiai’s eyes lit up. She guessed he was talking about Yuzuriha Inori. Texas and the other two had no objections.

Ren winked at Exu, then @ed Inori in the group chat.

[Ren: Inori, send a world-traveling application to the person named Exusiai, using the points I gave you. Of course, my points aren’t free. You’ll have to pay me back in the future, okay?] As for how to pay back, Ren smiled meaningfully, my loans are usurious.

[Exusiai: Hi hi! That’s me!]

[Yuzuriha Inori: Mhm.]

In Ren and Exu’s eyes, Inori appeared from a black hole. In other people’s eyes, she walked in through the door; Ren had deliberately influenced their perception. She was wearing a pink tracksuit with a jacket over it, looking a bit lost. "Where is this?"

"This is a place to relax. A bar. Come and enjoy yourself," Ren waved to her.

Having a few drinks, chatting casually, and playing some drinking games. Due to her unfamiliarity, Inori wasn’t very uninhibited. Just as Ren was thinking about how to help her adapt, he noticed her gaze occasionally drifting towards the bar’s stage. A faint light shimmered in her eyes. He recalled she was an online singer.

He then pointed to the stage. "Can people go up there to sing?"

"Yes, you just need to talk to the person up there," Exusiai nodded.

After getting the answer, he looked at Inori. "Want to give it a try?"

"I..." She seemed hesitant.

Without a word, Ren took her hand, walked towards the stage, briefly communicated with the singer, and pulled out a wad of Lungmen coins. The singer decisively retreated.

Under his encouraging gaze, Inori walked onto the stage. Her songs were her own, and as for the music, Ren directly reproduced it from her mind by rewriting reality. He adjusted people’s senses so the sudden music didn’t surprise anyone.

Yuzuriha Inori, hearing the familiar music, paused. She looked at Ren, who merely returned a faint smile.
