Bai Xue no longer wanted to stay in this safe base; she was worried that if she stayed here any longer, then she would be infected by those people who caught the corpse virus. She didn’t dare to stay here any longer; what if Bai Feng did something wrong and Yu Miaomiao infected her with the corpse virus? She heard from the people living in the safe base that Yu Miaomiao was planning to inject the family members of those ability users who betrayed her in the future.
It was because of this reason that many of the ability users didn’t dare to betray Yu Miaomiao.

However, she never expected that the meat that she had given away so casually for the sake of Bai Xue would turn out to be the last of the stock. When she returned home, Bai Qingshi beat her up after finding out that the meat had been given away.
"You spendthrift! Do you even know that Bai Meiyue is not going to send supplies for the next three days! We could have used the meat to last till then; now that the meat has been given away, we can only eat rice!" Bai Qingshi spat on her face.
